"Hera! I am so sorry, my Hera!" I hear Serena cry from behind me. Hera? I wonder briefly as I see the field further up ahead through the tree line.
"PLEASE COME BACK TO ME!" She wails so loudly, so painfully, that I look back at her in bewilderment as we continue to run hand in hand.
"I am sorry. I need you Hera, I NEED TO SAVE OUR MATE!"
"Hera?" I finally call out, wondering if she hit her head when she fell earlier; why is she apologising to my stuffed toy wolf?
