Chapter Fourteen

When they got downstairs, Cindy realized that Jonathan had changed his car and was having a black Audi parked at the parking lot.

"You changed your car today, why?" She couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.

"Just wanted a change for our date. You don't like it? I'll change it if you don't like it. I want to feel comfortable."

"No I like it, no need to change," she was actually surprised that he thought she wouldn't like it. Who wouldn't like such an expensive and eye-catching car, she actually loved it! She had always loved Audi cars. Her car was also the same design as this but his was rather more expensive.

She also realized that he didn't have his driver and she didn't bother asking since she had guessed that he was driving them today and also wanted some privacy on their date.

Jonathan opened the passenger seat for her as he guided her head so she couldn't hit it while entering the car and closed the door after she had sat. Cindy was moved at his gentle and caring gestures.

He then went to the other side and settled on the driver's seat. Before he could start driving, he leaned towards Cindy. She was surprised and thought that he was going to kiss her. She closed her eyes and she could feel his warm breathe on her face and also his scent.

When she didn't feel his kiss, she opened her eyes to realize that the man had went back to his seat and was looking at her with a smirk on his handsome face.

"What? I was only buckling up seatbelt sweetheart, or were you expecting me to kiss you?" He asked with that smirk still on his face.

Cindy was embarrassed and really wanted to wipe off that smirk on his face .

"Shameless," she muttered under her breathe but was still heard by him.

"How am I shameless? You're the one who said I can't ruin your make up, I'm only following what you said. But not to worry princess, I'll kiss you later mmh?" He asked with a teasing smile.

Cindy could be seen flushing crimson red. This man is extremely shameless.

The drive to the restaurant didn't take too long as they engaged themselves in casual conversations.

When they got to the restaurant, Cindy was in awe. It was starlight restaurant, one of the most romantic hotels in the city. This hotel was always majorly visited by couples.

She looked at him, "This....," She couldn't even form a sentence.

"I said it's a surprise, are you surprised sweetheart?" He asked with a gentle smile on his face. She could only nod since she didn't trust her voice at the moment.

Just how many surprises did he have? He seemed to be acting too mysteriously.

This restaurant was majorly visited by people who wanted to propose to their loved ones or couples who wanted to confess to their loved ones.

She looked at Jonathan in Surprise, what is he planning? She had a gut feeling that something was going to happen that might change her life. Not in a bad way but rather a good way and this made her feel butterflies in her stomach.

She was looking forward to it.

Jonathan alighted from the car first and went to the other side to open the car door for Cindy. He then gave her his hand so she could alight more easily.

He then gave his car keys to the valet as they made their way towards the entrance of the hotel.

"Welcome Mr Black, Miss, this way please," they were greeted by an attendant the moment they entered the restaurant. The attendant had recognized Jonathan not because he was a frequent visitor of the restaurant but because he was a famous figure who always appeared in new and also business magazines but also because he had come earlier to check if everything was the way that he liked.

And he was also a CO owner of the hotel together with his friend, Martin. Not many people knew this, only the higher employees of the restaurant knew about this. They so mysterious about it.

Cindy was astonished by the interior of the restaurant. White and red balloons, white and red roses, could also be seen as decorations inside. The light inside the restaurant created a romantic feeling. She could see couple on dates with bright smiles on their faces. It was such a warm feeling.

They were guided to the second floor. The mood and the decorations on the second was the same as the first floor.

The only difference was that, there were not as many people on the second floor.

Their seat was beside the French windows on that room. Jonathan pulled a chair for Cindy as she sat down and muttered a thanks with a smile. The window was overlooking the city and bright lights could be seen since it was already night time.

Their table also had flowers and some candles making it more romantic.

It was such a breathtaking view.

The attendant bowed and walked out of the room. Since Martin had made arrangements earlier, everything was ready the moment they walked in.

They made casual conversations as the attendants brought in refreshments for them.

Later when the food arrived, Cindy was surprised again to see her favorites again. 'Why is this man so thoughtful?' she couldn't help but think.

Their food was accompanied by wine. Jonathan cut the steak on his plate and then changed it with Cindy's. 'Why would his princess cut staek while he was there?'

Their meal was very harmonious and Jonathan didn't allow Cindy to drink a lot of wine, just a little.

After their meal, there was dessert. Again it was her favorite. She was so happy. It also seemed like Jonathan also liked whatever Cindy liked.

Cindy had a bright smile on her face throughout the meal which also brought a smile to Jonathan's face.

He was glad that she liked it. He thought she might think that it was too much but when he saw her smile, he realized, every prepation was worth it.

After their meal and little bit of resting, they decided to take a walk for proper digestion since they had ate a little bit too much especially Cindy.
