Athena Harris POV
“Alpha… alpha I came to….” I stammered a little.
His eyes narrowed at me. Maybe he did not like my stuttering in fear.
“Why are you stuttering?” he asks with a hard edge in his voice.
Like I said, he did not like me stammering in front of him.
“I am sorry, Alpha. I came to drink water” I whisper quietly while showing him the bottle.
His eyes assessed me, whether to check I was lying or not. But I made sure to keep a straight face in front of him. I remember Evangeline informing me to not make the Alpha angry in any condition. Probably, because his temper gets the worst out of him in his anger.
“Did someone not inform you that, I don’t like strangers moving around the pack house so freely?” he raised his eyebrows at me.
