"Good morning Ayva," Elena said cheerfully as I stomped down the hallway on my way to my office. I've always wondered why she was always so happy in the morning. She was no different than Ashley. Usually, I try to reply with as much cheerfulness as she does but that morning, I wasn't feeling it. There was nothing good about it. "Hi, Elena," I said without sparing her even as much as a glance. Then she managed to catch sight of my face. "Um...is everything okay Ayva?." She asked. "Yes. Everything is fine." With my keycard, I unlocked the door to my office and pushed it open.
