Love of my Guardian Angel

"Tap, tap, tap,” My boots made the sound with each step I took as I made it down the sidewalk. The moon is high this time at night, the air cool and crisp. I pull my hood over my head, pull my coat tighter to stay warm and keep my head down to try to avoid the cold whipping on my face. “Savannah,” a familiar voice whispered, a voice I thought I would never hear. I kept going, thinking it was in my head, the last time I heard that voice he was leaving to go home. Never to return, he had said. “Savannah,” his voice was louder this time, causing me to freeze and look up and around. There he was the average size skinny boy, the face I yearned to see the past 9 months, the boy I fell in love with. “Jack,” I whispered. I didn’t move, couldn't move. How do you go to someone who abandoned you the way he did me. To the one you thought you would spend your life with, the one that left you standing there with nothing to say as they walked away taking a part of them with you. “Sav, Come with me,” he said, extending his hand out to me. “Please” he asked softly. My heartbeat in my chest got faster. I was in love with him still, but I didn’t want to get hurt, I didn’t want to do it all over again just to be broken in the end. “Jack it is 1 in the morning, I have to get home.” I say. “Can I come with you,” he asked as a younger girl came out from the shadows behind him. “Is that safe to do Jack, you know what mother will say if she caught you here, we would be in deeper trouble if she knew you came to see her.” The girl says, she looked at me then back at Jack. I didn’t realize he had a sister, I didn’t know much about him now that i think about it. A chilly breeze hits my face causing me to shiver. “I don’t want to be out in the cold so come on, both of you, I am only a few more minutes away.” I say. I am exhausted, I don’t want to see him, but here I am. I put my guard up and lead them to my small apartment I share with my small black cat that greets me at the door as I enter. After seeing someone new she ran to hide. “Diana, go sit somewhere, be good.” I hear Jack whisper to the girl as he follows me. “Jack, what do you want?” I ask, taking my coat off. “How did you know where and when to find me?” I turned around and saw him, realizing he wasn't wearing a coat, only what appeared to be a thin long sleeved shirt. I look back at the girl who sat at the door on the floor. “It would be better in the guest room. Down the hall there.” I told her, pointing. I realized all she had on was a thin dress, and no shoes. “Diana, go get some rest,” Jack told her and watched as she went into the room. JACKS P.O.V. I watched as Diana, my sister, disappeared into the room Savannah told her was the guest room. I put a shield around her to protect her and so she couldn't hear us talking. “You must be cold,” Savannah says. Looking at me, I look back at her brown eyes looking at me. I could tell she was on guard. I did break her trust. I broke almost every rule in the book of my people and here I was about to break the last rule. The biggest rule, but she had to know. “No, I am not, the cold doesn’t do anything to me,” I state. I walk over to her and take her hand. I could hear her heart speed up. I knew I still had the same effect on her as before, before I destroyed her. I still love her. She tried pulling her hand away, though I didn't let her go. “Jack,” she complained. “Sav,” I say. “I need to show you something.”
