“A date?” Tessa asked again, unsure of what she had heard.
“Yes Tessa, a date. I want to take you out to some fancy restaurant and make things right”.
Tessa could not breathe all of a sudden. Now he wants to take her out on a date.
“And Aimee?”
Eric sighed, “I told you Aimee and I are over. What we had was just the s*x, she was not even sad that I would be leaving her. She was more concerned about having s*x”.
“That doesn’t make me feel better saying it, but okay”. Tessa laughed slightly.
“s**t, I am sorry”, Eric held her both hands and looked at her straight in her eyes.
“But will you go on a date with me?”
Tessa nodded excitedly, of course she would love to go out with him.
