Then the boss entered...
All the girls went crazy, not knowing what to do , they only wanted to catch his attention.
As for her, she suddenly felt she needed to go to the bathroom because she realized he was walking toward her.
Alya whispered,
“He’s coming!”
But when she turned to look at her, she didn’t find her , she had already gone to the bathroom.
She washed her face to waste some time until he left. After a while, before stepping out, she peeked to make sure he was gone...
But when she looked to the right, she saw the boss, standing there, as if he had been waiting for her!
She felt nervous. Why was he doing this?
She closed the door, but he heard the sound and knew she was coming out.
He looked at her and gave her that “romantic smile,” so she returned a weird one.
He asked,
“Why did you go to the bathroom?”
She answered,
“Personal reasons.”
He smirked,
“Oh, really? Do you think I’m stupid? The moment you saw me, you ran to the bathroom!”
She replied,
“Coincidence… maybe.”
Haha, it was an awkward moment.
Then she asked,
"What brings you here?”
He looked away shyly, brushing his hair with his hand, and said,
“I just wanted to check on you.”
(Tch, what’s he thinking?!)
She raised an eyebrow and gave him a tilted smile.
“If you don’t need me, I’ll go.”
Before she could step away, he grabbed her wrist and wouldn’t let go.
She tried to pull her hand free, but he pulled her closer!
She pushed him back and said,
“Just because you’re the boss doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want!”
He was shocked , he didn’t expect that.
Most girls would have just blushed and let him do what he wanted.
He asked,
“Why did you push me?”
She ignored him and walked back to her seat.
(What’s wrong with him? Is he a p*****t?!)
After work, she remembered she had agreed to meet him. (Why did she agree?!)
Alya asked if they should leave together, but she told her someone was waiting for her.
She went outside, hoping he had forgotten about the meeting…
But, unfortunately, he was there ..waiting .. while girls around him fainted with excitement!
(He’s really living the moment...)
She walked toward him. He looked at her, then glanced at the girls and winked, making them squeal with joy!
(What? Does he think she’ll get jealous?)
She smiled, pretending not to care.
When their eyes met, she said,
“I don’t care what you’re doing. Just talk quickly, my best friend is waiting for me.”
He looked surprised , clearly not expecting that.
“Wow, calm down… I just wanted to drive you home,” he said.
Then she saw the man standing behind him…
and froze. It was her first love again! (Finally, something good!)
She smiled and said,
“I changed my mind. You can drive me home , if you don’t mind.”
He looked a bit surprised but seemed happy that she agreed.
He walked to the car and opened the door, waiting for her to get in.
When she entered the car, she saw the man she liked , she was so surprised and happy to see him again.
She wanted to start a conversation but felt shy, so she simply said,
“Uh… hi, I’m Sarah. What about you?”
And the big awkward moment…
He didn’t answer. He completely ignored her!! (What’s wrong with him?!)
Silence filled the car.
No one spoke.
She tried to avoid Jack’s eyes, but he kept staring at her.
After a moment, he asked,
“Why are you so quiet? You’re lucky to be riding in my car!”
(What’s wrong with this guy?!)
She replied,
“Yeah… lucky… I guess.”
He said,
“Looks like we’ve arrived.”
The guard opened the boss’s door; he got out, then opened her door.
She stepped out, avoiding his gaze.
She thanked him, and he smiled , but she didn’t smile back.
“I’ll go now. Thanks again for the ride,” she said.
He nodded, still looking at her.
(Is he waiting for her to go inside? Well, she had given him a fake address.)
She glanced at the guard, who was looking away.
She sighed, waved at the boss, and he smiled before leaving.
She smiled as she watched them drive away.
(Finally, they’re gone , that took forever!)
She walked in the opposite direction.
When she got home, she took a shower, then sat down to watch anime.
A few minutes later, she got a message from an unknown number.
She raised an eyebrow, grabbed her phone, and the first thing she did was block the sender and delete the message… easily.
But the messages and calls kept coming!
It was midnight. Who calls at this hour?
She hung up and texted,
“Who are you? Why are you calling me? Do I know you?”
A few minutes later, the reply came:
“It’s Alya, your friend from work.”
She frowned and typed,
“And how did you get my number?”
Alya replied,
“Oh, uh… I have my ways.”
She answered,
“What do you want? If you want to talk, we have plenty of time , not at midnight!”
Alya said,
“Yeah, you’re right… I was just impatient. Anyway, good night. Bye.”
She replied,
“Good night, Alya.”
She put her phone aside and continued watching anime.
