CHAPTER #1

LUCY's POV

"Ma'am here's your Hibiscus tea with pomegranate pearls." I look on his face and smile a little. I know its kinda weird seeing a woman sitting in this kind of place alone. I was about to say 'thank you' when he put another plate in my table making me frown.

"I think, you got a wrong table. This is not mine." I say as I look up the sources'.

He smiles once again "It's on the house, Ma'am." he said and with that he excuse himself so he could return to his post.

My mouth parted as I gave him a glare before returning my gaze back to the plate he had a place in my table. It looks delicious of course, but I don't eat cheesecake. Not after she had--- I shook my head not wanting to think my past anymore.

I had moved on about it but it doesn't mean that it is okay with me to think about it. I sighed, then my eyes traveled back in the entire place - some people, are now looking me like they realized who I was or rather, they'll find me weird because I've been here for three hours.

This place is not crowded so I'm just really lucky today - because, as far as I remember this coffee shop is one of the attractions in this place. I pick up my phone and started to dial his number but just like what happened a few minutes ago, it is still can't be reached but this time its line busy.

I sighed, he was probably stuck on his work right now that he probably forget about this occasion that we should celebrate.

I call one of the employees of the coffee shop and ask her about my bill. She smiles before excusing herself to get my bill. As I waited for the lady to come back, I fix my cup and sunglasses. "Here ma'am this is your bill," she said.

I just gave him one thousand US dollar before I went to foyer. I'm still thinking about what should I do this day without him. I mean, I was expecting him to come but it turns out that he will just forget about it. I sigh, "I think I really need to pay a visit to him." I said. I was about to get up when all of a sudden my phone ring and to my disappointment, it wasn't the person I waited for "Hello?"

"Where are you?" Erza said.

"I'm in the coffee shop, Erza" I said as I put my money in the table and pick my belongings. "I was about to go when you call. Is there something wrong?" I said as I made my way out of the coffee shop.

"May I remind you, that you had a pictorial right now! You have been late for one freaking hour, Lucy Heartfilia!"

"I told you... cancel all my appointment today." I plea, "This is a very important event for us."

"Correction, Heartfilia. To you." Erza said as she emphasizing each word making me bit my lower lips "For him, this is the worst day ever."

I force myself not to cry as I remember the day I married him. The day which we both lost that person I clench my fist as I inhale sharply when I felt that familiar pain inside my chest. "Erza please" I plea. "I don't want to talk about it."

"Don't you think its unfair, Lucy," she said almost like a whisper. "We both know that you don't deserve to be in that situation."

"But I chose to be here." I said - inhaling sharply before I continue "Always."

"But you are not happy anymore." I can imagine her face she's making right now. Erza knows me very well. I tell everything to her including the pain I felt when I said 'I do' five years ago.

"Maybe this time, I'll be happy, Erza. We can't be so sure." I said smiling even though she can't see my face.

"You've been saying that for five years, Lucy," she yelled.

I chuckle "I have to go, Ezra." I said before turning off our calls.

My name is Lucy Heartfilia. I work as an official model of Erza's company. Sometimes if I don't have a photo shot I usually go camping on my own or traveling somewhere that can make all my stress go away. Aside from that, I had a secret that no ones know in the media... and it was me, being married to one and only Natsu Dragneel, the CEO of Dragneel Empire.

"You such a pathetic, Lucy" I whispered so low that only the wind can hear "And a pathetic person who fall in love to a guy who stuck in the past."

I met Natsu Dragneel when I was in my last year of high school. The very first time that our eyes lock I knew from that moment I was in love with him. He was so funny, he treasured me and made me feel beautiful and important... But everything changed when discovering something that both our lives change. It was when Lisanna Strauss, Natsu's girlfriend, and my best friend has a stage four cancer in the lungs. Back then, it was so difficult to accept everything. It was so hard and full of pain.

Lisanna knew that I was in love with his boyfriend and she asked me that I should stay with him when she's gone. That I should make sure that Natsu will find his happiness even without her.I refuse but Natsu heard it and accept it.

I inhale sharply when I feel that familiar pain that I felt when Natsu accept Lisanna's last wish.

AS I finally reach Natsu's company, I was taken aback when I saw him with someone else. He was happily talking with that girl on his arms. When I think, Natsu finally aware of my presence his cold eyes piercing in my soul. "What are you doing here?" he says as soon as he reaches my place.

"I-I... I just..."

"Who are you b***h?" the girl said.

I roll my eyes "Hello, mother, nice to see you." I said crossing my arms below my breast. I saw the girl turn her face into red like she was offended on what I had said just a few seconds ago.

"I'm asking you. What are you doing here?" Natsu said emphasizing each word.

I bit my lower lips and I saw that girl on his side smile - this ugly lizard! I clench my fist... "I just want..."

"Let's just go, hon. Do you even know this ugly?" that b***h said. Ugly? I am more than beautiful that you, you freaking lizard!

"She's just nothing but a bypasser." I bit my lower lips that moment I heard he said. They both turn their heels away on me as my tears slowly fall down in my pale cheeks.

For the last five years? Natsu treats me like I was a bypasser to his life. Natsu... don't you think its time for you to look to me? It's been five years...

Maybe this time...

You start accepting that Lisanna will never come back...
