CHAPTER #3

LUCY's POV

I feel his arms carefully wrapped against my body like he was afraid to break me. My tears started to stream down in my cheeks as I felt kiss my temple "What took you so long?" I cried against his arms.

I heard him chuckle "My princess is still a cry baby." he said as he breaks on our hugs and made me look on his innocent face. He then, carefully brush my tears away on my cheeks before smiling "I'm here I won't leave you okay."

I was about to say something when I heard Natsu clear his throat - when I turn my head to see him, his eyes rage with full of anger "Really woman?" he said sarcastically but you can feel the anger that he felt towards me. "We need to talk now!"

"Can you just go away and leave them alone, Mr. Dragneel?" Erza said.

Natsu glare her like "I'm not talking to you," he said emphasizing each word. He held my arm tightly that makes me bit my lower lips in pain "You are going with me."

"Dude you're hurting her." Zeref said.

"I don't care!" he said angrily. Zeref look on me worriedly and I just gave him a tight smile - silently telling him that I am fine. "Let's go."

He almost dragged me outside the lobby area, my left arm is now red and I'm pretty sure that it will leave a mark. "Please... let's walk slowly." I plea

"No!" he yells.

"You are f*****g hurting me, Natsu!" I said as I tried to remove his hand on my arms. My mouth hangs open when Natsu pinned me in the wall.

"How dare you cheat on me? Right in front of my face!" I tried my best to push him away on me but Natsu is way too strong.

"I never cheat on you, Natsu." I yell "Stop accusing me!" I said as I tried to push him again, this time I am thankful that I succeed

"Then who the f**k is that guy?" he said angrily. His eyes blaze with too much anger.

"He is Zeref... my bro--" I never had a chance to finish my sentences because Natsu cut me off by holding my both hands above my head as he pinned my lower body with his. "N-Natsu?"

"Do you love that man?"

I smile to him a smile that Lisanna always does "I do.. I do love him..."

He slowly let go of my hand as he take a few step backwards "You love him?" he said disbelief is really visible on his voice

"I love him, Natsu." I said.

Natsu laugh sarcastically and then look directly thru my eyes like he was trying to read what I was thinking. "I just want you to know that you can't get a divorce on me" he says.

"I know..." I murmur because I did make a promise with her.

"And you can't meet that guy again!" he said emphasizing each word on me.

My eyes wide and my mouth parted – I can't believe that he is trying to dictate my own life. "No! You can't dictate my life Natsu Dragneel!"

"Oh! I think I can." he said as a sarcastic smile form on his lips "If you did meet that guy again then it is the same like breaking your own promised to her."

I clench my fist as I bit my lower lips "It's unfair."

Seeing him after all those years makes me think that I can finally survive everything in my life, because I had someone that will protect me, will treasure me and most especially will take care of me like I am the most precious gem that he found. I wanted to tell to my brother what I feel or what I think.

"Your life is never been fair since the moment you agreed to her, woman." Natsu said cutting off my sentiment and bring me back in the reality.

AFTER LISANNA told me that they were dating I tried to distant myself because I can't bare it but even I did that... people around me always talk about them, how they look so perfect for each other. "What?" I can't believe on what she had said "Lisanna tell me that you were just joking!"

Lisanna sobs as she carefully held my hand "How I wish... but..." her tears are now kept on pouring on her eyes.

"B-But you look healthy, Lisanna. How it become possible?"

"They didn't saw it coming until... until now that it was too late for me."

Tears started to fall in my eyes as I look on her state "But how about your dream, Lisanna. You said that you want to become a famous model. You said that you will be the one who will... who will design my own wedding gown. You said that you will stay on Natsu's side until you both turn into gray and old."

This news will surely break Natsu's heart. He does love her and I can't imagine what will happen to him after this.

"Lucy..." she sobs as she slowly touched my face and smiles "Will you do it for me?"

"What?"

"Can you do what I can't do in the future." she sobs "I remembered the song that you once sing for me... the lyrics said that you'll do your best to make it better. That you will make the pain go away."

"Lisanna its just f*****g song!" I almost yell in front of her.

"Please, Lucy promise me that you will stay with him... that you will stay on Natsu's life."

"Lisanna..." I open my mouth to say something but I can't find my own words - my heart is being beaten all over again and I can't do anything to save my own heart.

"Please Lucy!" Lisanna plea "Marry Natsu Dragneel"

I open my mouth to protest but before I could answer - I heard his voice and most painful words that I heard coming out of his mouth...

"Yes... I'll marry her, Lisanna just like what you want."

I don't know what's hurt the most? Is it I know that the person I love the most will never love me or he will just stay by my side because of his promise to his dying girlfriend.

"I REMEMBER my promise to her, Natsu. But I don't remember letting you dictate my own life." I said trying my best not to cry in front of him.

"You are my wife, woman. You are my property, remember that." he said before he turn his body to me.

I am your wife... but you can't even say my name after you promise to her.
