The Mission Gone Wrong

Chapter Seven

Nicole excused herself. She told to them that she forgot to buy something. But the truth is she just wanted to have a fresh air. She just wanted to go for a walk. And she need to clear her mind too. She can't stay at the coffee shop anymore or else the anger on her will wake up soon. So, she decided to go out and leave them for awhile for their own happy clingy moment.

"I need to go and buy something." Nicole said waiving her hand to them and she started to walked towards to the door.

"Wait!" JongHyeop shouted for stopping her in opening the door. "I'm coming with you," he said smiling.

Like? She will really allow him to follow her and to convince her with that smile just to be with her. Nicole looked at Ami, and she looked back at JongHyeop feeling un bother because her heart is jumping wild again. That idea of JongHyeop following her was so intentional.

"You don't have to." She protest. I can go on my own. You don't have to. And I don't need your help. You can stay here with, Ami," she said being calmed.

"It's okay if you don't need my help but I still need to follow you." JongHyeop insisted. "Well, you know? You and I should stick together." He said raising his brows.

"Why?" Nicole said in a soft voice. "Are you concern about me if I'm gonna die today? If I'm gonna die outside?" She said in sarcasm."Or if I will hit my head on the street and got some bruises?"

"Well, if that the case?" JongHyeop said. "Then it's great! The earlier the better. We can go to hell early." He said making his shoulder up. "But you should be careful too. Not to fast, Honey."

"So you really want me to die, huh? How could you be so mean?" Nicole started to get angry. Another more words from him and she will really gonna burst in anger."And don't call me Honey. You are not my bear." She said with pouty lips and a high-brows.

Then, suddenly Ami came to the rescue. "What are you talking about?" She s

asked being confused too them. "I thought you are going to buy something? Why are you still here. Go and get that food. " Ami said chasing her. Then Ami stared back at JongHyeop too for being confused of what they are arguing, pointing Ami hand to JongHyeop what was going on to both of them?

Nicole just nodded and she looked back to JongHyeop too.

"Asked him?" Nicole said to Ami while making a cross arms.

"What?" Ami said at her." Ask what?"

"Ask him why he need to come with me?" Nicole said again to Ami.

Ami stared at JongHyeop.

"Do you want to go with her?" Ami asked JongHyeop.

"Yes." He answered with a nod. "If you don't mind?" JongHyeop said smiling while tapping Ami shoulder.

"Then, go!" Ami replied. "I can stay here and I can look at our coffee shop," she said smiling too. "What are you waiting for sister?" Ami said to Nicole patting her shoulder. "Go. Go and buy that things with JongHyeop."

"But..." Nicole insisted to. She refused for that because she doesn't want him to follow her. She wanted to be alone. But how can she reject him if Ami already give him a permission to go with her?

"But what?" Ami said cutting her next word. "Don't tell me you are avoiding him?" She asked."Is there something or anything you wanted to say at me?"

"No, it's not like that. I just wanted to go out with my own," Nicole explained. "And I need to, well you know? To have my own privacy." She explained.

"But he wanted to go with you?" Ami said. "Is there any problem with that? Are both of you, okay?" She asked in frowned face.

Nicole make her eyes big after hearing the last question. The truth is she doesn't want to see JongHyeop. She doesn't want him to keep following her. But what if she confessed now to Ami? She wanted to tell to Ami the truth but she's scared. And this is not the right time to tell Ami everything. Maybe, if she get a good a chance to explain at her then she will tell it to her, why this Devil is with them. Why JongHyeop is pestering her.

"Are you sure?" Nicole said. "You wanted JongHyeop to go out with me?" She asked just being sure again. "I can go on my own." She insisted to her.

"Yes, why not?" Ami said smiling. "JongHyeop is sweet guy. So you'll be fine with him,"she said with thrilled. "He will sure protect you from danger."

"If that case, then he can go out with me." Nicole said to Ami just to finished their discussion. She knows JongHyeop will not gonna protect her. He was a devil in disguise. A sweet and good looking with a horn inside his head.

Suddenly, Nicole remembered something about Ami story just now. She must ask her again what happened last night. She must know the truth. She got being confused and distracted about that blanket. She can't really remembered anything and it's making her annoyed.

"Well, there's something you need to confess with me?" Nicole said before she forget that.

"What?" Ami said being confused too her best friend questioned.

"You should tell me later what you saw last night. What happened last night with me because I can't remembered anything." Nicole said to Ami with a warning. "You must!" She said again making a high-brows to her best friend.

"Yes, sure!" Ami said laughing. "I will tell you the story later," she said with a giggles. "Everything I saw, I will tell you one by one. But now, you should go and buy that things. Your Dare Devil is waiting for you," she said with a teasing smile.

Nicole nodded and make a boxing hand to Ami. He best friend is teasing her with that laughed and she feel pissed. She walked to the door where JongHyeop is waiting. JongHyeop also opened the door for her. Nicole wanted to try to be nice at JongHyeop but she can't still do that. Her feelings right now is on a mess like a trash with different waste on it. Everytime they touched skin to skin and looked eye to eye she felt so different. There is something wiered inside of her to get triggered everytime they are so closes.

"So you really insisted, huh?" Nicole started the conversation while they are walking down the street without knowing which direction where to go.

"Because, I need to accompany you." JongHyeop answered.

"Yeah! That makes you thrill! To accompany me and watch me die so that you can go back to hell soon." Nicole said with a high-brows and a little bit loud voice.

"Well, because that's the truth. That's why I'm here." He replied honestly. "You are my mission and you should not forget that." JongHyeop reminded her.

"Well, well.." Nicole said being annoyed. "Stay away from me! Walk over there." She said pointing to the other path of the road.

"Why should I walked there if you are here?" JongHyeop said smiling.

Gosh! Why he is smiling again. Those smile really makes her heart beat fast. And it makes her annoyed too. "Because, I don't want you to be near with me." Nicole explained.

"Why? Is there something wrong being near at you?" He asked back.

"There's nothing wrong. I just wanted to be alone. Do you understand me? And you insisted to followed me. So my rule is---- stay away from me. Sta---a-ay a-awa-a-ay. Got it?"

"Then I walked behind you." JongHyeop suggested. " So that I can stay away from you. I can watch you behind."

"I will feel uncomfortable if a Devil looking at my back while walking." Nicole said being annoyed and pissed. Why they always need to bicker? She should talked to him nicely. But how is she going to do that? Her heart always thumping crazy everytime she was close to him.

"Then I won't look at your back." He said in a soft laughed.

Nicole frowned that her eyebrows are getting closer. "Why are you so bother some?" Nicole asked with disbelief. Gosh! Why Ami allowed JongHyeop to followed her. She doesn't have a peace of mind now. This Devil is really making her blood boiled. She wish that how about she disappear like a bubble soap, pop in the air and then no one can see her because she was now an invisible person.

"I'm not." JongHyeop said shaking his head. "You just making it hard for you. Treat me like a friend," he said smiling.

"What?"Nicole said in disbelieved. "No. Never!" She disagree.

"Why not?" JongHyeop asked with pouty lips.His both hands was inside his pocket. Walking so cool in her distance.

It was really cute that this devil making a sad face like a baby and throwing a tantrums at her present because he never gets want he wants. Cause she refused to be friend with him. "Because we can never be friends." Nicole said. "I was born to be your enemy," she said to him confidently.

"Maybe we are lovers in our past life that's why we are enemies now." JongHyeop replied in a serious face.

Nicole doesn't know how to react or to response. She cannot believed that this Devil is saying something so weird. So, maybe we are? Gosh Nicole! Get a grip! Why are you being so sensitive infront of him? Why every words he said makes you confused? Just stop being distracted and delusional. Just remember that this Devil is here because he wanted you to die and wanted to bring you to hell. Yes, that's it! So stop day dreaming, Nicole. Maybe a spicy chicken and a can of beer will help her nerves to calm down about her craziness thoughts that running in her head.
