The instructor pointed with the chalk in his hand at the class and said, “Who can tell us the advantages of the new radio technology?”
Glenn instinctively shrank in his seat, while his eyes were pinned to the blackboard. Some bright boy up in the hierarchy had had the brilliant idea to send all pilots on the airbase back to school.
All week they’d been stuck in this classroom repeating airplane maneuvers ad nauseam. Who cared about the theories behind doing flips and rolls when they weren’t allowed to go up into the sky and actually perform them?
