Rumors abounded that a new commander for Operation Vittles would arrive soon. After weeks of great fun and greater chaos, Glenn was ready for structure and hoped it would be someone experienced in the logistics of air operations.
But he didn’t pay much attention to this issue, because he had a more personal problem, one he’d never experienced before and that irked him no end. He’d set his eyes on the beautiful Zara, but despite sending signals that she found him attractive, she showed him the cold shoulder.
