The loss

As far back as I remember my big sister was always there for me, she was 7 years older than me so I always looked up to her. We grew up in a somewhat turbulent atmosphere where we would constantly feel as tho we were walking on egg shells, this was because of my father he was strict beyond words, even having you knife the wrong way around at the dinner table or being a minute later home than you said you would be got us a slap and if you said you'd had enough of your meal because you were full oh my days that was like world war 3, with rantings of I've worked all the hours under the sun to put food on the table and there are people starving and you're refusing good food then it would either be a smack and sent to your room or you would be forced to sit there until you'd consumed the remaining food on the plate. My big sister was always there to dry my tears after any such incident. Little did I know that as I grew things would get a whole lot worse, and some dark secrets would soon emerge.
