I bolted upright wide awake. I looked down and Kayne was sound asleep. I could’ve sworn I heard him calling my name. It can’t be him tho as he just let out a snore. “Kindra.” There I heard it again. Should I wake Kayne to see if he can hear it too? I thought to myself.
