Tears streamed down Rebecca's cheeks and she remained on that spot crying her eyes out. She stood up and dusted her body before going in,her cries subsiding.
She met everyone going out and that made her wanted to resume another round of tears, but she pinched herself.
She took her bag and left the shop without looking back. She got to Britney's house and pushed the door open.
She dropped her bag on the ground and fell on the couch. That minute, Britney was just coming out of the kitchen.
"Someone is back from work.... How was it......
She stopped when she saw tears on her face.
"Rebecca! What happened this time? Huh? "Britney dropped the tray of snacks in her hand and squatted in front of Rebecca.
"We are so done for... " Rebecca muttered.
"You are frightening me again, what is the matter" Britney frowned and Rebecca told her everything to when she went to meet Noah outside .
"What! You mean he said all that to you?? " Britney gasped and Rebecca nodded. She pulled Rebecca into a tight hug patting her back repeatedly.
Rebecca broke the hug and breathe out.
"What do we do, we are automatically jobless right now, I can't take care of myself and now a baby...... " Rebecca sniffed.
"We will be fine babe! Just cheer up! " Britney shook her playfully and Rebecca smiled.
"You are Heaven sent Brit....... I don't know how I would have survived without you in my life... " Rebecca sighed.
"Shhhhh....... " Britney placed her hand on her lips.
"I figured out that someone would be famished..... " Britney smiled bringing the tray to Rebecca's laps.
"Thanks Brit... "
"Enough of the talks. Finish up so I'll treat your wounds. I can't believe he is so heartless. I hope we do not cross part.... I'll break his bones " Britney hissed leaving to fetch the first aid kit and Rebecca sighed again .

AN UNDERGROUND
"Arghhhhh!!!! " Agonizing cries filled a room, blood bursting out of a man's mouth. His body already covered in blood .
He crawled on the ground spiting out blood. Noah gave him another hit with the metal stick on the chest.
"Arghhhhh!!! " The man cried again bleeding more than before. Noah dropped the metal and dragged him up holding his collar.
"Who the hell are you? Who sent you? " He questioned.
The man got a knife from his pocket and tried to sink it into Noah's stomach but Noah was quick enough to dodge it.
Though not fast enough because it made contact and gave him a cut. His anger got rebuilt and he grabbed the man's hand twisted it.
He began throwing heavy punches without stopping. The man even lacks the energy to fight back because the punched were damn heavy.
After the tenth one, Noah grabbed his arm and flipped him. Landing on the ground with all loud cry the man opened his mouth.
"Please spare me......It was all of us in the financial department that..... that took the money. They... they were the ones who suggested it....... Please sir" The man begged and Noah's hand went down in a slow mo,hot breaths escaping his nostrils.
He let go of the man's shirt and the man passed out on the ground. He brought out his phone to make a phone call.
He walked out and almost immediately, the cops arrived and handcuffed all the culprits.

THREE MONTHS LATER
Rebecca and Britney walked back home after a long day at work. They both a job at a restaurant as Janitors and it was not as easy as they thought.
They pay was even lower than that of the coffee shop .
Rebecca pregnancy journey had been going well, and she was visiting the clinic for monthly check ups with her half of her pay.
Things had been rough but they managed their resources.
"I want apples...... "Rebecca pouted immediately she saw the red apples sitting in a basket in a grocery store, the transparent glass giving it that savouring look.
"Rebecca! You just took five oranges some minutes ago..... What the... "
"It's not me. It always the baby craving for this things. You know I don't eat these.... Right? " Rebecca pouted cutely and Britney wanted to laugh but she kept a straight face.
"Pleaseeeeeeee" Rebecca pouted again and Britney laughed out this time.
"Fine..... "
"Thanks!!! " She jumped happily running into the store.
"This baby would make us go broke.... "Britney muttered shaking at her as she watched Rebecca picking the apples.
"Wait..... Rebecca!!! That's more than five.... Damn! "She ran in.

Britney glared at Rebecca as she muched on the apples hungryly "People are staring Rebecca! Just keep it till we get home" Britney said through gritted teeth smiling awkwardly at the people who stared at them.
"Let them stare for all I care. I can't afford to starve my baby". Rebecca replied munching on the fourth apple .
"Gosh....."Britney held her head.
Britney's phone rang from her bag and she brought it out... Pressing on the red icon.
"Why are you not picking the phone? " Rebecca questioned chewing her mouth funnily.
"It's Sarah and I am not in for her gossips " Britney rolled her eyes.
"You just have answered at least" Rebecca said and almost immediately the call came again and Britney groaned.
"Hey Sarah.... " Britney muttered.
"Really?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " she screamed further and that made Rebecca jerk.
"We'll be there!!!! Bye!!! "Britney gushed.
"Why the hell will you scream like that?! " Rebecca frowned.
"We are getting a job!!!!!! " Britney jumped happily .
"Finally!!!!!!! " Rebecca said throwing the apple in her hands away and they jumped on each other.
"The interview is next tomorrow babe!!!..." Britney said opening the door of her house. And they fell on the couch at the same time.
"We are made! "They smiled at each other.

" Babe! " Britney yelled as she grabbed down a taxi and Rebecca came out almost immediately in her corporate wear.
She wore a light make up and packed her hair in a neat ponytail. She entered the taxi and they both smiled inhaling the freshness of the air.
The car finally pulled up In front of the magnificent building and the two ladies came out.
They wowed at the inscription sitted at the far top of the building.
