Chapter 2: Andrew Clark

Ellas POV

-a few weeks later-

I wake up to my alarm and sigh. It had been a rough couple days. After I met Andrew despite a mate pull I hadn’t gone back to see him yet. I was starting to wonder if I was going to go into heat soon. If that happened it wouldn’t be good.

I pull the covers back over my head wanting to just go back to sleep when I hear a knock on my door. I try to ignore it but then Andrews scent hits me. I push the covers back. “Just a second” I call out as I look for my house coat. I was wearing an oversized tee shirt that didn’t really cover my butt and I didn’t want to be flaunting my body to him. Yes you do.. mate with him Willow purred as I pulled my house coat on. I shut her link and opened my dorm door. “Good morning come in” I say blushing slightly.

“Good morning” he said walking into the room. “I was never lucky enough to have a single room my freshman year” he chuckled making me blush a little more. “My alpha set it up for me and thought it would be best if I had a single room” I state with my checks as red as his shirt now.

He turned a gently touched my cheek and I half melt by it. “I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I wanted to respect your boundaries but I can’t fight the mate bond anymore”Andrew started and I just stared at him. He was very respectable considering I had heard of people being forced into mating within a few hours of meeting. His blue eyes look at me and I blush again.

“Andrew would you like to go on a breakfast date?” I ask and hear my wolf whimper with excitement. “I would love that. Would you like to go for a run later” he asked and I gave a smile. “Maybe” I tease as he looks at me with his Alpha eyes. “Maybe?” He said with a small growl. I immediately lower my head and look away. “No” he said lifting my head. “You don’t have to be scared of me. If you wish to accept to be my Luna you need to toughen up just a little” he said and I was kind of shocked and hurt. ‘Toughen up’ Willow growl ‘I’ll show him tough’ she said trying to take control.

Before I knew it I was knocking Andrew onto my bed. Our faces were inches from each other. My face went completely red but I leaned in pulling him into a rather passionate kiss. He returned it and placed his hand on the small of my back. He then flipped me over so he was on top of me. “But as Alpha I demand respect “ he whispered gently before kissing me again. My heart fluttered as I felt him feel up my body. His strong hands traced my leg up to my hip. He kissed my neck and I completely melt. ‘Take us’ Willow howls and I shut her out. “Andrew...I” I stammer trying to find words.

He seemed to understand because he got up. “I’m sorry Ella.” He said and I didn’t know an Alpha could blush. “I started it” I chuckled rubbing the back of my neck. “You want breakfast or go for that run now?” I ask him and he smiles. “That run might be nice. I can show you my pack” he said.

Andrews POV

She asked me on a breakfast date and I was over the moon excited. This woman actually made me feel weak and sensitive. Normally I wasn’t very sensitive but I did give my pack the chance to talk to me.

“I would love that. Would you like to go for a run later” I asked and she gave a smile. “Maybe” Ella tease as i looks at her with my Alpha eyes. “Maybe?” i said with a small growl. I didn’t want to appear to weak. I was an alpha after all but she immediately lower her head and look away. My heart broke seeing her like this. No Luna would have to be afraid of me. “No” i said gently lifting her head. “You don’t have to be scared of me. If you wish to accept to be my Luna you need to toughen up just a little” I said without really thinking. ‘Tough up.. you blew it man’ Crimson chimed in as Ella literally knocks me back onto the bed. No one ever got a jump on me like this before and it took a second to realize what was happening. Her lips hit mine and I wrapped my arms around her touching the small of her back.

Flipping her over I kiss where I knew the mark went. I could feel her body move against mine. ‘Take her she is mine’ Crimson howled and part of me thought about it.

“Andrew..I” Ella stammered and it knocked me out of my trance. “I’m sorry” I say as I pull away from her body. “I’m sorry Ella” I say feeling a blush. Man this women was something else. No one had ever made me blush and I could see she probably figured that out as well.

“I started it” She chuckled rubbing the back of my neck. She had the cutest chuckle and it made me smile. “You want breakfast or go for that run now?” She asks me and I smile. This was my chance to get to know her wolf too “That run might be nice. I can show you my pack” I said with pride. She smiled as I grabbed her hand. “I need to change meet you in an hour?” She said pulling her hand from mine.

“I’ll be waiting my Luna”I said before chuckling “I mean Ella”. Her face lit up red again and it was the cutest thing. I kissed her hand before leaving the room. I got back to my room and I got a missed call. “Alpha we have rouges near the school” my beta Josh left in the message. I could feel the anger rising.

I quickly ran out of the room and towards the woods. Shifting into my wolf I took off with a howl. ‘Josh meet me at the border with a team’ I mind linked

“Yes Alpha” he replied. I just hoped that everything would be done before that hour mark.

-three hours later-

Panting hard I looked down at the mangled body of the one rogue I got my teeth into. My blood was still rushing as I heard a snap of a twig behind me. I turned and lunged at a women. She managed to dodge my attack and I then got Ellas scent. Turning around I see her looking at me with wide eyes. I shift back as quickly as I can. “I’m sorry Ella we had a rouge attack” I say rushing over to her.

“It’s ok I trained with the alpha o all the time in my pack. Sorry for sneaking up on you” she said smiling. “Need a run still?” She asked before shifting into the most beautiful golden brown wolf I had ever seen. Her eyes turned to a light amber color and she had a few fleck of red in her fur when the light hit it just right.

‘Alpha?’ Josh calls out from around the corner. ‘Is that another rouge by you’ he says as he rushes from behind me.

I shift and knock him to the ground growling. ‘This is Ella my mate” I growl and he submits immediately. ‘Sorry alpha’ he mind linked me.

I walk over and nuzzle Ellas neck before taking off towards my pack house. I could hear Ella behind me as we ran though the woods. Before I know it we approach the pack house. A few she-wolves where hanging around and I let out a small growl and they back off some.

“Alpha is so handsome in his wolf form”Angel snickered to the other she-wolves. Angel always had a thing for me. She would try to hang all over me. I never let her get close though. I didn’t really like her but she was crazy about me.

I stepped inside the building and shifted. I pulled on a pair of blue cargo shorts. Ella nuzzled me and I smiled. “Come with me to my room and I’ll grab some clothes” I say rubbing her head. Normally I didn’t allow anyone in wolf form to walk through the pack house. But I wasn’t about to have her shift then walk n***d though the house to grab clothes.

Ascending the stairs I hear someone clear their throat. “Umm.. excuse me your not allowed to walk through the house as a wolf.” Angel said with a huff. Ella paused and looked at me. “Hey b***h I’m talking to you. No wolves in the ..” she said as I moved swiftly over to her. I grabbed her by her throat and lifted her about a foot in the air. “Want to really piss me off Angel? Insult my mate again” I growl before dropping her on her butt. She tried to give me puppy eyes but I just walked away. “Alpha” she whined out but I just ignored her. She was already on my nerves.

Finally we approached my room and I opened the door. I knew Ella was going to have to shift before entering because wolves were just a hair too big to fit through the frame. I grabbed a pair of basketball shorts and a tee. She shifted and I turned around. I heard the door clothes and my heart raced just a little. I heard her pull on the clothes before I felt her hugging me. I turned around to see her wearing my clothes and it turned me on. “Those look good on you” I say smiling. She blushes and I pull her into a hug. “Thank you” she said softly.

“For what?” I say pushing her back just a hair so I could see her face.

“For standing up for me” she said and my heart broke. She must have had a past where no one stood up for her. It made me sick to my stomach. I vowed then that I would always protect her with my life.
