I hugged mum one last time and she gave me a little peck before she stepped into the car with Chris and they zoomed off.

I stood there for sometime after the car left the house.

while am quite happy that I have a little time to myself, I was starting to get a little sad now that they finally left for alaska.

I went back into the house and went straight to my room.

it was 5 am and I was contemplating whether to call damian or not .

I was not sure if he'd be awake by this time already, if not that I wanted to see mum and Chris off I know I'd not be up by this time myself.

so I decided not to call him and go back to my lovely bed.

immediately I got on my bed I heard my phone ring, I rolled to the other side of the bed and grabbed my phone from the bedside table.

I checked the caller id and was shocked to see it was Damian.

I really wasn't expecting his calls especially not by this time.

I picked up the call and brought the phone to my ear.

"hey baby"

oh God his early morning voice is so magnetic and masculine am sure I could get used to hearing it every morning.

"hi...hi Damian" my voice sounded so nervous and timid I wish the ground could open up and swallow me right now.

it was so embarrassing that I was still acting like i just met him for the first time.

but then again that was the kind of effect he had on me .

every single moment with him felt surreal and new to me .

it always feels like am on an adventure of discovering myself and I hope it remains this way.

" I heard your brother and mom left town for alaska today " he said.

" how did you get to know about that so quick they just left the house about fifteen minutes ago" I asked him.

"let's forget about how I got to know about that for now.

I was thinking of taking a three day off from work so I could spend a lot of time with you and show you around town what do you say to that" he asked and I quickly sat up on the bed.

I really couldn't believe my ear right now,

damian a workaholic who couldn't stay a day without going to the office was willing to take a Three days off just to spend some time with me!!

it might not be much of a big deal but to me it was.

all my life I've always had extravagant and nice things but they where never what I really wanted.

I just wanted to have a little bit of freedom and that has thought me to appreciate little things in life and also live in the moment.

this kind of little gestures was what made me fall so hard for damian.

"of course I'd love to go out with you damian" I replied with so much excitement.

"ok get ready I'd pick you up by 10 am today ok" he said and I nodded my Head as if he could see me.

"I love you so much damian".

"i love you too baby"

he ended the call telling me he had a few things to sought out .

I dropped my phone on my bed and decided to check for the clothes to wear today.

I really wanted to look good for him today, I wanted to make sure he had his eyes on me throughout.

after hours of turning my closet upside-down I was left to choose between two clothes i had never wore before.

a very short gown with the back completely exposed and a very deep cleavage.

or a comfy sweater that reached my knee.

I decided to settle for the sexy gown.

I really felt this urge in me to look different and a little bit more sexy for him even though i was going out of my comfort zone.

I stared at my self in the mirror over and over again I had to make sure i was looking perfect.

I had less than fifteen minutes left before 10 am but I was still not sure of this dress, I was beginning to doubt if damian would even like this.

i felt so uncomfortable in such a dress, it was really beautiful but I had doubts if I could face people in such dress.

but I decided to go along with it.

i heard my phone ring and I picked it up, it was from Damian.

" am already inside your house" he said immediately i answered the phone.

I quickly went downstairs to the living room and then i saw him.

he was staring at a painting that was hung on our wall.

"damian" I called his name so slowly i was even shocked at my own voice.

he turned around and gave me a smile and I went ahead to hug him.

"what are you wearing baby"he look as if he was stifling a laugh.

I couldn't believe I put in all this efforts just for him to laugh at me like this.

"a dress, do you have a problem with it" I said looking away from him and getting out of his arms.

"no I don't but I think you'd have a problem with it" he said.

yes I had a problem with the dress but I was not going to admit it

"no I don't have a problem with it, can we leave now" I said as I tried to step away from him I tripped on my heel and almost fell down but damian was quick to hold me.

"baby if you are not comfortable with the dress you could just change it, besides we are only going to the park". he said and nodded my head and went back inside to change.

I wore the comfy sweaters and it was reaching my mid thigh and then i put on my sneakers and I was good to go.

I went out to meet damian and then we left the house in his car.

I can officially call today the best day of my life,

damian and I had done a lot of things today that I never knew I'd ever get the opportunity to do.

he had taken me to the park and we had a lot of fun or more correctly I had a lot of fun.

and now it was time to go back home because damian had an urgent business to take care of in the company.

damian dropped me at home with promises to call me when he could.

I went inside feeling excited,

I was lucky to have found damian he was the best thing that has happened to me in a long while.

the house was empty and I was starting to doubt if I could sleep alone in this big mansion.

we have domestic staff but Mom has never allowed any of them to stay here in the house.

I went inside my room to freshen up and then came down to Cook dinner.

cooking was my favorite thing to do apart from reading, it was the only thing that distracted me from my boring life .

I made a simple meal of spaghetti and meatballs.

I dished some out for pa sam and the other two security guard which i didn't know there names I was sure they would change them by the end of this month. according to Chris it was not safe to keep new workers for long.

pa sam was the only one that has been working with us even before I was born, at this point he was more like a family member to us and he'd never betray us.

I dialed the Telecom and asked the guard to come pick there food up and went inside my room to eat.

after I was done eating i tried to call my mom on video call but she didn't answer my calls so I decided to retire for the night .
