CHAPTER 6 The study was rugged, with its wall-to-wall oak shelves and burgundy-and-gold brocade curtains. Charley sat at the desk, the ranch’s ledger open in front of her, but the numbers blurred before her. She rubbed her eyes. She couldn’t concentrate. A wickedly charming grin and velvet green eyes tormented her. She slammed the ledger closed. Satan had released Morgan Ramsey from hell, and now he worked on her ranch.
