Alden and Clarence Jr. were doing well. Hitting all milestones on time. The unborn baby kicked furiously and seemed fine. But poor tired Lenoir was not getting good rest and was ready for the pregnancy to be over.

Johnny had been able to help her get supplies and food stocked for the winter.
