Jewel's POV
I was still wrapped in Tau's arms in my room, where we had just agreed to marry and mate. Tiny Alpha we need you to come down to the training grounds. Mortou said in my head. He was here two days before going back to Linzi.
"We have been summoned to the training grounds." I looked up to see Tau nod his head slightly and release me from his arms.
Be right there. I told Mortou.
"Do we know why?" He asked as he turned to allow me ahead of him.
"No Mortou did not say." I opened the door to head out toward the path to the training fields.

Cresting the hill to the training grounds below, Tau and I seen the blonde male half-dragon and a female with dark brown hair facing off with a portion of my team. Athens and Mortou standing in between.
We walked silently past the team. Gael was mad about the man being back who had given us the message from the dragons earlier.
"I see they let you have your sister," Tau said with a smile as he eyed the man we had seen before.
"Yes, but now they plan to kill you." The large deep-voiced man said.
"Even an instant kill will ensure Jewel is protected." Tau looked down at me. He wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me close to him. I was not sure if it was for him or me or both of us.
"That is good then." The large man nodded. "My sister and I were curious if you would let us join you?" You could see he was worried when he asked.
"I am fine with it," Tau answered.
"Me too," Hawk announced from behind us.
"Princess?" Tau looked down at me, his sea-green orbs, making me forget the question.
I shook my head a minute, "Yeah I am fine with it." I nod glancing back at my brother.
"I will help you find rooms." My brother announced.
They were walking past Elder Braun, Max, and Pinky when Pinky unsheathed her sword. The tip pointed at the chin of the big guy. Everyone stopped breathing. You could hear a butterfly's wings flap.
"Your name?" The growl Pinky unearthed from her chest was deep and spoke of dangerous things.
"Isaiah and my sister is Bianca." The intimidating man spoke softly. You could see his Adam's apple bob up and down.
"Your dragon mother or father's name?" The growl is still in her words.
"Romana was my mother's name." He answered again in the same soft deep tone.
"Understand my allegiance is to Jewel and her family always. I will kill you both if you are part of the reason she is harmed." Pinky's eyes were glowing an intense pink. She was letting him know she meant every word of it.
"Yes," Isaiah bowed low as did his sister. He sliced his palm with a claw he formed on his hand. Turning to stand in front of me he lowered to one knee. His sister did the same. Her palm sliced too. Holding it out they squeezed droplets of blood to the ground before me.
"We, kneel before our Queen, our blood seals our fate. Our lives at our Queens disposal forevermore." They chanted in unison.
Their blood hit my nose pulling Akasa forward fast and instant. "I accept your allegiance to my stature know I will do my best to protect and keep you safe." Akasa's voice vibrated the ground and creating a stir in the wind.
"Akasa?" Isaiah's eyes opened to see how my eyes looked. "What is she?" He looked at everyone.
"She is an ancient wolf spirit, so old that the only other her age is Tys." It was Shaman who had showed up.
"Then the prophecy is true." He looked to Shaman.
"It seems it is." Shaman nodded in agreement. "As ancient as I am I oversee this blood oath as solid and binding. Know whoever breaks it will be no more." Shaman looked at me. He smiled slightly, "You grew up as I expected. Just as powerful as your mother." He winked. Then he was gone.
My eyes landed on Tau instantly. "You have gained more protection." He grinned. His arm snaked around my side again pulling me closer to his side.
"Let's get your rooms situated." Hawk looked at Isaiah and Bianca. They followed him toward the castle.
"Is it true you are getting married?" This was Leon's voice that found my ears.
"Yes Leon," I sighed.
"Are we getting a shot at it or did the heads pick him?" Leon looked hopeful.
"No you don't have a shot and yes they sorta picked him." I could see he was still not backing down.
"So that means there might be a shot?" Leon grinned.
"No, I am marrying her." It was Tau's growl that made him lose the grin. He looked from Tau to me back to Tau. I am pretty sure the only emotion on his face was shock and a quivering lip.
"Why do you have to get married?" Elder Braun asked.
"Part of ancient law, though I can still rule I only need to be married." I turned to look At Elder Braun.
"What about your true mate." Elder Braun's eyes looked pained. I knew he didn't want to see something like what happened to him happen to me.
"I am marrying my true mate," I smiled. I glanced at Tau who lifted the corners of his lips and winked at me.
"Perhaps, but what about his second task?" Elder Braun countered.
"I have fath in the Goddesses that they will not take him from me," I said, I knew I didn't believe it but something in me stirred. It said I should not worry. All would be right and everyone fine.
"I will send my own prayers to Leto and the moon goddess." Elder Braun nodded. He took Pinky's hand as they too headed back to the castle. Pinky have me a wink as she followed Elder Braun out.
