  Roseline’s POV   I pushed open the door of the private room. Adrian's figure sat under the dim light, his features outlined in a mysterious silhouette. His long, slender fingers held a glass of liquor, knuckles sharp and distinct, gently spinning the ice along the rim, producing a crisp clinking sound.   I walked up to him, hesitated for a moment, and finally asked in a low voice, "You said you know who kidnapped me?"   He lifted his eyes, those ink-black pupils unfathomable under the shadowed light.
