JULY
10.A new start:
"There are different colors of life and every color has its own beauty and charm ... every color"
Dashing and scuttling through the hallway by taking enormously large strides which looked like a great deal, I entered my physics class pretty late after the prank that went flopped and completely washed out. As I made my way in, I saw gazes and gawks of everyone like I was a new comer and they were checking me out for the first time. Avoiding their continuous stares, I settled myself and started revising my lines for today's project. While making corrections I also tried to give attention to the project displayed in the front of the class. Alicia was explicating and elucidating her work in an extremely presentable way. She had the same cherubic features as Harold since they both were siblings but was not enough attractive and friendly due to her straight forward and sometimes rude attitudes.
"I hope everything goes well" I made a wish as returned back to the piece of parchment on which I have stated a few points for giving details during my presentation. This time I was confident and convinced enough due to my previous assignment that was though comprehensible but everything went well. I was revising through my lines for the last time when professor called out my name and I felt a chill of nervousness and jumpiness skip through my spine. As I approached the front of the classroom, I saw every single student looking intently at me.
"I can do this" I told myself for the last time when I started explaining the laws of motion. While describing and vindicating everything, I started to stutter as I reached the third law of motion. I tried to control myself but this problem was totally involuntary. I was about to give another try when I heard a maniacal laugh at the end of the class. It was none other than Bruce, as expected. I ignored him but soon I saw every single finger pointed towards me and doing nothing but laughing. Shortly, phones were out and videos of me trying extremely hard were made. I stood there quiet and tears ready to leave my eyes almost immediately. First, I looked at Professor James for support and assistance but when I didn't saw a single hint, I rushed out making an exit passage along with a demoralizing and shattering wet face covered in tears as always.
Erratically, I made my first turn through the corridor hastily and impetuously, when out of the blue I collided with a girl who was coming in an opposite direction. I didn't pay much attention though but she wore circular spectacles just like Harry Potter on her attractive face with charismatic features. Due to sudden bumpiness, I dropped some her things during the unexpected crash. Without any waste of time, I picked up her belongings and escaped as soon as possible.
I avoided my friends until the next class, sitting in an empty bench where indoor basketball matches were played and scrutinizing expressionlessly and perplexedly at nothing but a blank score board which looked just like my lifeless and uncomprehending life ... empty.
Later, I entered my chemistry class with arduous and onerous footsteps and took my seat. My pals haven't arrived yet, probably searching for me. Since, few minutes were left before the lecture began so buried my head in my arms and tried to regain enough consciousness and responsiveness to attend today's lecture but soon a gruff loud voice reached my ears. It wasn't professor, instead it was our institutional principal but he wasn't alone. There was someone beside him. Someone I couldn't ever forget. Someone I can easily recognize. Someone, of course was special for me I don't know why. She didn't walked or paced with a perfect or ideal gait neither she had a tall lean body or wore makeup like most of the popular girls which were usually picture perfect since they focused only on their beauty and keep chewing bubble gums or flipping their hairs like that's just the doctor ordered but there was something attractive enough on her pale colored cherubic face with charismatic features that made her so elegant and nice-looking. I sometimes felt that she was blessed with a gorgeous angelic face like none other. I didn't observe her much in the morning in view of the fact that I was tremendously edgy but now I was factually ogling and eyeballing. On top of navy blue jeans she wore a red colored shirt underneath a bright yellow hoodie and these dazzling vivid hues made her more eye-catching for almost everyone. Her hairs giving touch of every shade of brown, that were tied in a high pony in the morning when I failed the trick of being an accountant were now lying loosely on her shoulders in the form of slight waves and covering her half back. Few of them, were tucked behind her small ear on the left side while the others partly covered her face on the right side. I finally became aware that she was the same girl with reflecting circular spectacles I collided with when I was ... I didn't wanted to think any further.
"This is June everyone and though she joined this session pretty late but I am sure you guys will help her out in every way" he left and without any agitation and awkwardness she came and sat beside me with full and satisfied buoyancy and self-confidence.
"Hey!" she said with a never forgetting curvy smile while she took out her register and books from her bag that was filled a collection of key chains.
"Hey!" I replied with a low nervous voice. I couldn't believe that she was sitting right beside me... a loser. An extraordinary girl like her didn't deserve this all.
Harold entered the lecture hall with John and Ron beside him, their eyes looking for me when they realized that seat beside me was filled. They gawked and gaped at me with an expressionless face and soon took their seats since the lecture started soon enough and I noticed her attending most attentively and conscientiously like it was some sort of conference and she was the head taking every single detail on her laptop. I focused more on her than the instructions that were being given by the teacher, and even though I tried to stop but it looked like the most difficult job. I just wanted to talk to her and hear her some more. Every minute that passed seemed like an hour and I sat there with a bore unaided face. At last, the lecture ended and the students evacuated. Although, she knew I had a speech impediment but I had already came to a decision that I wouldn't face her. My footsteps were only inches away from classroom door when her melodic voice honeyed through my ears.
"July! Could you please lead me to the cafeteria?" at first I couldn't believe that she asked but then I swiveled and nodded with a smile that appeared on my face on spur of a moment.
