It was an excellent morning for Lynda. Unfortunately, only Taylor was in the rooms upstairs as every other guest had already checked out. However, Lynda was sure that he could manage to get into the pool, probably later that day. She smiled at the thought.
She was distracted by Taylor, who now wore swimming shorts, and he was shirtless. She raised her head to face him. He was a beautiful man, she thought to herself. Taylor had been taking care of himself and had strong arms. It was from all the working out he had been doing, and it was good for him.
“Hey, I am going to the pool.” He said without looking at Lynda.
“Alright, you go have fun,” Lynda said, peaking at him. Wasn’t he a beautiful man, she thought to herself. It had been years since she had been interested in someone in such a way. She brushed off her thoughts and went ahead with her tasks.
There wasn’t much to do at home. By 1:00 PM, she had finished with all the day’s work. Once again, she only had one guest. She decided to check on him while enquiring about his meal plans. They had not talked about it, and he seemed to be enjoying his stay. Unfortunately, Taylor did not seem interested to go out in the city like all the other guests.
As she approached the swimming pool, Taylor noticed her. She was a gorgeous woman, with her emerald green eyes lighting up from the sun. She was mesmerizing. Taylor almost said that out loud. There was something about this one woman that he did not seem to understand. All his life, Taylor had had just one girlfriend, and it ended with a nasty breakup. One that left him in pieces and unable to trust anyone ever again. He pushed away his thoughts but could hardly control his body, even in the cool water in the swimming pool. Taylor felt his blood rushing in his veins. He wanted to stop it so bad, but he couldn’t. He could hardly bring himself to look at the beautiful woman standing by the pool. He examined the other way, afraid that the bulge in his swimming pool would show. He was now swimming, trying to keep all those thoughts away from his mind.
Lynda stood by the pool, watching the masculine figure swim away. Taylor was the good build-up, with a great-toned body. She could not bring herself to thinking about him, at least not in such away. He was a guest, and she was the host. It would be immoral and unethical for her, she thought as Taylor made a stop right at the edge of the pool.
“Hey there, it is me again.” She said, handing him a towel.
“Are you stalking me or something?” Taylor said jokingly.
“You play too much for a serious face like yours,” Lynda said, looking away from Taylor. “Would you like something to eat from here or if you are going to the city?” She enquired.
“You tell me, what should I do?” But, Taylor said, for some reason, he was not going to leave home. At least not that day.
“You are hilarious.” Lynda chuckled. “If you are leaving to the city, I could release the chef.” She made her point clear.
“Oh, alright. No problem, they can go home. What about you, Ms. Lynda?” Taylor asked. He was determined to make a conversation. It had been years since he felt this attracted to someone.
“I don’t know. I am going to stick around and maybe go out later.” She answered, turning to walk away.
“Okay, great! Then maybe we can swim together, and maybe get to know each other. After all, we are just the two of us. Where is your boyfriend? I haven’t seen him today.” Taylor continued.
Lynda was laughing hysterically. How could he think that Ahmed was her boyfriend? “First of all, what makes you think I want to know you better?” she asked. It was probably written all over her face, she thought to herself.
“I didn’t say you want to; I suggested something we could do together,” Taylor answered. “What is it with you women?” he asked out loud.
Lynda turned to face him. Who was he to come and talk to her like that, she wondered. “Excuse me, what did you say?” she growled.
“I am just challenging you to come and let me know you better. There is nothing wrong with that or is there” Taylor asked.
“Well, I don’t walk away from a challenge!” Lynda said as she walked towards her cabin. She had planned to swim from earlier on, but now she was going to do it. She liked someone to challenge her. But, on the other hand, she liked hiding behind the protective layer she had already made.
“Oh yeah?!” Taylor asked. He knew he was happy that she had agreed to come to the pool. However, he was not precisely prepared or even willing to put himself out there. He always wanted to remain hidden. He had played this game way too many times and was confident that he would be okay.
Lynda went into her house and changed into her sky blue bikini. It had been a few weeks since she had had time to take a swim. She thought to herself. Was this too much a challenge she took when accepting this? She couldn’t stop thinking about it. But, she was brave enough actually to go for it.
She carried her towel and sunscreen and walked to the pool in her beautiful beach sandals.
“Here I am!” she announced before she got into the pool.
Taylor knew that he had to keep his mind from devouring the beautiful woman in the same pool as him. His eyes, however, could not stop tracing her body, over and over again. It was a tough game he had chosen to play, and even with a more demanding player.
