My lungs burned from exertion as I dragged Ollie through the maze of parked cars behind the hospital, trying to get him to safety, it is what Mama Lumina would have wanted, and maybe she wouldn't think I am bad luck and throw me before Mama Sophia would come back.
I was wary of everything and everyone as my eyes kept scanning everywhere, cataloguing everything that might be useful or become a hindrance to what I was trying to accomplish.
Every shadow could hide one of Bullet's men, every sound could mean we'd been found and not by the good guys. The good guys never did, until it was too late.
The emergency sirens from inside the building were getting louder, mixing with screams and what sounded like breaking glass.
