I held my head high. I saw this coming. She would know the minute she saw the change in my wing color. Fairies only have one set of wings and they stay one designated color from awakening until death. Unless, of course, you are an Aura Dawn Fairy. I sighed and saw all the surprised faces of enlightenment, joy, fear, and shock. It was a happy mix of everything.
But now, I was happily a target to more than just the royal family. She opened up her golden wings and flew up and left about twenty feet of distance between us and it felt like the whole world stilled. I took a deep breath and nodded. “Alright, let us begin!” I shouted, silencing the muttering.
However, one voice shouted out through the crowd. “Res!” I grit my teeth, ignoring Faron’s plea and shot up in the air.
