“Pull back we’ll be right there” Xander says into the walkie talkie as the reality of what’s about to go down sinks in.
40 vampires and probably Mara compared to the 10 of us aren’t great odds. I take a breath and retrieve my bag, immediately pulling out my crown and putting it on, figuring I could use the extra power.
“We’re very outnumbered. What’s the plan?” Vi says in a worried tone.
“We should meet them at the barrier, we can cross in and out and pick them off one by one instead of taking them all on at once. Hopefully we can dwindle the numbers down that way.” I jump in, letting go of everything that just happened and focusing on what we need to do now.
