I turn to look at the school and see my dad storming towards us.
“DAD?? What are you doing here?” I ask shocked to see him.
“I got a call from a doctor confirming your foot isn’t broken but recommending you stay off of it to help the sprain heal. They prescribed a strong pain killer to help you get to class, so I figured I’d fill it, bring it to you and find out what happened. Are you faking injuries to get out of class and galavant around with a vampire?!” He accuses.
“I’m not!” I squeak out, unsure what else to say. How do I even explain this.
“Well you’re moving just fine now - doesn’t look like you’re sprained or broken and it’s only been a day. How do you explain that Jade??” He crosses his arms across his chest as he yells. Even with werewolf healing I should still be limping
