“Friends what brings you to this neck of the woods?” Travis says loudly, trying diplomacy.
They halt and I get a good look at them. The woman has long red hair, and the two guys both have dark brown hair. They have their fangs out - not a good sign for me.
“We’re looking for someone, we think it might be your werewolf companion here.” One of the guys says.
“You’re probably mistaken, but who are you looking for?” Travis asks trying to diffuse the situation.
“That’s none of your business! We’ll just take the wolf to be sure. But don’t worry, we’ll release you if you’re the wrong one,” the woman sneered at me. Ruby let out a low growl.
I look into Travis’ eyes.
