A YEAR LATER. Tony pointed at the zebra grazing a few feet from the Land cruiser that was taking the little family on a safari game drive. The little boy mumbled something incoherent only a fellow baby could possibly understand. And maybe his mother, Christopher thought as Jane exclaimed excitedly, “See he loves animals!” Christopher looked down at the animated face of the little boy seated on his lap. It was the only way to guarantee his son didn’t surprise them by going for a game walk with the animals when they blinked. Ever since Tony had started walking, Christopher missed the days he was just a tiny bundle he carried around the house. But then again, walking had its advantages.
