Jared and Elizabeth walked back carrying the younger pups as Alex was ahead chasing the boys.  "You need to figure out what you are going to do."  Jared finally told her.

"I can't,"  she said shaking her head.  "He is fine with the kids, he treats me great, but I don't know."

"So why did you mark him?  You made a choice you know."

"I know, I feel a different connection to him than the one I feel to you."

"The mate bond"

"Probably, but my love for you is so much stronger.  It makes no sense when you think of everything we were told about the mate bond."

"He did something unforgivable but you chose to work past it."

They reached the pack-house and Elizabeth went to her office after Alex took the pup she was carrying.  

Jared entered soon after,  "I am done with this waiting."  he said picking her up wrapping her legs around him.

"Are you now?"

"Yup," he said taking her over to the couch, sitting down with her on his lap.  

She kissed him and started grinding against him.  "I missed this."

He pulled her closer kissing her deeper.  He slowly ripped her panties off after pulling her dress over her head.  She released him from his pants and he lowered her onto his erection.

Her breathing hitched as he grabbed her hips increasing the pace.

"I missed this" he whispered next to her ear.  "I missed you."

Once they both were satisfied, she fell breathlessly against his chest.  "Tell me why we didn't do that sooner."

He laughed, "letting you figure things out sucks."  

"We just need to get back to normal,"  she said hugging him.

"Yes we do" he agreed.  "Come on, we need to get ready for tonight,"  he said picking up her dress handing it to her.  

She pulled the dress on,  "Yeah, we have a lot of packs coming tonight."

"How many?"

"16"

"Wow, should have a lot of mates by the end of the night."

"I Just hope they are happy,"  Elizabeth said getting to the door.  "Come on, we need to get ready."

They headed for the residence and started getting ready, Elizabeth called to Alex, "We leave shortly, I am taking a shower, your clothes are on the bed."

"Thanks," he said looking at the clothes.

"You ok?"

"Yeah, just thinking how happy the couples will be tonight finding their mate.  How I screwed all that up for us."  he picked up the clothes and headed back to his room.
