Jared grabbed Elizabeth's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor. He pulled her close, "This was such a good idea. So many wolves have found their mates today."
"You made this all happen." She said smiling at him.
"Come on," he said pulling her as the song finished. "You need to eat."
Laughing, she followed him. He grabbed a plate and handed it to her as he grabbed one for himself. As they got to their table, he dropped on his knees kissing her belly. "You have a very smart Mommy."
"Yeah, I picked your daddy." She said laughing. "You are crazy."
"About you!!"
Sitting down, they ate talking and laughing with several pack members. Hearing her name, she turned around seeing Jacob and Cory returning. They were carrying her pups. Jumping up she ran to Jacob hugging him and taking Xander from him kissing all four of her pups. Jared took Xavier from Cory.
"Thank you for bringing the pups," Jared said smiling at the two. Taking all of them back to the table, they were talking and playing with the pups.
Alex was watching them, he longed to touch his pups. Jared and Elizabeth were smiling, talking, and having such a good time with the pups and their friends. That could have been him. Why was he fated to betray her? He was so stupid. If only he hadn't rejected her.
He suddenly sees them on the dance floor dancing with the pups. They giggled as they were twirled around. Jared's entire face would light up as he watched the pups enjoy themselves. Jared really cared about his pups. Alex couldn't believe it. How could anyone accept his pups as their own?
Then he saw Jared hand her a blanket, she covered herself and nursed his pups. As they finished, he switched the pups. Jared kept kissing her and Alex could feel himself getting jealous.
Elizabeth looked at Cory and asked, "Is everything good now?"
He smiled at Jacob, "Yeah"
Jacob looked at her, "We are accepting each other."
"And??"
Laughing, "We are staying at the Pack-House and Yes, we are going to be your babysitters." he said winking at her.
"Good, we will need babysitters every once in a while," She said winking back.
Cory laughed, "You are all really good friends huh?"
"Yeah, and now you are stuck with us," Elizabeth said looking at him very seriously. "No escape."
Looking at Jacob, "I don't want to."
Heading back to the main house, they were all laughing, cuddling with the pups that had long given up and fallen asleep. Getting back to their floor, Jacob kissed Elizabeth's cheek and left holding Cory's hand. Jared and Elizabeth were very happy for the two mates.
Heading to bed for the night, Jared told Elizabeth "We are going to have to talk about letting Alex see the pups."
She looked at him shocked.
"He was watching them all night. He was watching you too. He is willing to move to the pack-house and follow any rules you give."
"I don't know," she said shaking her head.
"We will figure things out. Just think about it."
