Time had passed, several Alpha's had turned their packs over to Elizabeth, her stomach had grown considerably.
Jared walked into their office. "Good Morning Beautiful." He said grinning at her, their four pups following him into the room.
"Mama" they shouted each trying to get a kiss.
"Hello babies," she said getting down on the floor, kissing them. Their laughter could be heard throughout the house. "Who wants to go outside and play?"
"Me"
"Me"
"Me"
"Me"
Came all the little voices. Elizabeth laughed and headed downstairs with them in tow. Jared followed behind, he was so lucky to have this beautiful family. He loved watching them toddle and her waddle down the stairs. She could sense Alex watching them again, he always kept his distance. They walked to the park where the kids ran. The twins to the swings, Zack & Zane to the slide. After about 30 minutes, Elizabeth grabbed her stomach and moaned.
"Jared"
He continued to chase Xavier & Xander laughing. "What?"
"It's time"
"Time for what?" Scooping up Xander, "Got ya, you little scamp." He said as he tickled him and Xavier jumped on his back.
Turning with both pups he saw the pain on her face.
"Oh, God." He slowly put the boys down on the ground and rushed to her.
"Boys, I will have someone come to get you. Mommy has to go to the Pack-Hospital." Jared said picking her up.
Elizabeth looked in the direction she knew Alex was in. "Get over here, I know you are there."
Slowly Alex came out from where he was standing.
"I can take the boys," He said slowly "We can wait for you at the hospital." she looked at him as another pain crashed through her.
"Oh my god," she said seeing a puddle of blood come through her dress. "J-Jared" she slumped into him starting to lose consciousness.
"Boys come with Alex to the hospital, he will watch you."
"Do anything to them and I will kill you" He mind-linked as he ran as fast as he could carrying Elizabeth to the hospital. He had already told the doctor to be waiting.
As he got to the door, it flew open the doctor waiting in surgical gear. Elizabeth was rushed into the operating room and the pups delivered. Jared was given a gown and followed her into the room. Once the pups were delivered he was ushered out of the room, following the pups. She was early and the pups were small. He couldn't take his eyes off them.
He sent a nurse for the boys and was holding two pups when they walked in with Alex.
"Is it ok if I stay?" Alex asked uncomfortably.
"Yeah," Jared said.
"Is, um, is she ok?"
"No," He said shaking his head. Tears were visible in his eyes.
"Come here boys, would you like to see your sisters and baby brother?"
"Yeah" came their cheerful voices.
Jared held out the two little girls and asked Alex to pick up his son so the boys could see him. Alex nodded and cuddled the little pup to his chest. The two sat there silent just watching the seven pups interact.
"Why is she early?" Alex finally asked.
"She had problems delivering the first time, they said she was healed but she wasn't. Today they realized she still has injuries. The babies are small but healthy, she is still in surgery. She lost a lot."
Alex nodded in understanding. "She will be ok, she has been through so much."
Jared looked at Alex, just then a doctor came into the room.
"Alpha, I need to speak with you."
"Alex, please watch the pups?"
He nodded and Jared left the room with the doctor.
