Pups

Elizabeth spent the rest of the day with all her pups. Everyone kept her busy. Jacob tried to talk to her about some of the things they had done lately with the pups and upcoming plans they had made.
"You really can't remember Elizabeth?" He asked looking sad.
"I'm sorry, I don't know why." She said looking away.
"No, we just need to make new memories," He said smiling and hugging her. "Not remembering could be good for you. Some things really need to be forgotten."
She nodded, "Sounds like it."
"I need you all to help, we have to name these pups," she said cuddling with Princess, Jared had Prince and Alex had Heart Breaker.
"I have the perfect name mommy," Xander said with a smile.
"Me too," Zack said.
"Me too" came Zane's voice.
"Ok, what names do you have?"
The four pups whispered than said with big smiles. "Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff"
Jacob laughed, looked at Cory, "You let them watch that movie way too many times."
"I like those names," Elizabeth said after thinking. "You all like those names?" she asked looking at the boys.
They all nodded in unison.
She looked at Jared, "ok," he said smiling. "Heart Breaker is Elsa. Princess is Anna, and Prince is Kristoff." The pups clapped.
"I would really like to go to my home."
"Sorry, not tonight. Maybe in a few days." Jared said watching her reaction.
"I can't let all my pups leave here without me," she said sounding sad.
"It's ok, these four have been with us. We are staying on your floor watching them." Cory explained.
Elizabeth nodded in understanding. The pups climbed up her kissing her good night.
"Good Night my little babies. I love you all," she said smiling at them.
"Love you mama" came all their voices.
She smiled, Jacob and Cory hugged her goodbye and left with the pups. She watched as they all left the room.
Looking at Jared confused, "How could I forget them?" she whispered as tears went down her face, She was shaking.
Jared rushed to her and held her in a tight hug as she continued to cry. "Baby girl, calm down. You don't even remember yourself. Shhhh, it's ok." He tried to assure her. "You will remember, I will help you. Please calm down, the pups are feeling your stress."
She nodded trying to calm down. Alex brought her a glass of water. Shortly after one of the cooks delivered them all dinner. "Thank you," Elizabeth said smiling.
"Of course Alpha, glad you are finally awake. We have all been worried," she said smiling and exiting the room.
"I appreciate you coming so far and being so kind," Elizabeth called after her. She smiled as she shut the door.
"Everyone was in such a hurry to leave us," Elizabeth said.
"Everyone is trying to figure out what is going to happen since you don't remember what he did" Jared motioned toward Alex. "And we are married and mated."
"Oh," Elizabeth said looking between the two.
Jared handed her a plate of food and she started eating. He sat down with his own after handing Alex one. "I am not losing you to him," He said smiling at her. "I waited far too long for you to notice me."
She looked at him surprised. "What?"
"I chased after you for years," Jared said leaning close to her. He caressed the side of her face looking deep into her eyes and she leaned in as he kissed her. "I love you Elizabeth, I always have, and I always will."
She smiled at him, "I believe you, you have so much honesty in your eyes."
Once they finished dinner, Alex handed her Elsa and he started changing the other two. As she finished he traded for Anna, and finally Kristoff.
"I don't understand why you are here," she finally said to Alex.
"I have finally been able to help your family. You have never let me before, I just want to help." Alex said looking at her. "I screwed up really bad, I really am sorry."
"Are you staying?"
"Yeah, unless you want me to leave. They are a handful in the middle of the night." He said smiling at the pups. "I would like to help."
"Ok," she said nodding. "I am going to sleep, I am really worn out."
Jared climbed on the bed behind her, she froze for a minute. He wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled into her back. She finally relaxed and fell asleep. She just knew she was safe in his arms. He smiled feeling accomplished that she allowed him to hold her. He also fell asleep.
Alex just watched them, he was happy for them but sad, knowing he lost her. His mate, his everything. He too also finally drifted off.
