°Margaux POV°
The next morning. I woke up and I'm still worried that something will go wrong. I prayed again.
"Please, Moon Goddess, let this day be like the other days." I repeated the prayer, over and over and over until I can no longer speak. "Please."
I washed and put on a jeans and a tight shirt and a sweater over. I also put on a boots. It's winter now and it really is cold. Even for a werewolf like myself.
I'm now in the kitchen that has been filled with amazing scent. Bacons, Eggs, Pancakes, Maple Syrup, and Toasts. I walked to the kitchen aisle and took a seat. I grabbed a plate and put bunch of bacons and pancakes on it and top it up with a maple syrup.
While eating my food I heard chattering and as it came closer I can now hear the words that they are saying but that doesn't even matter. I continued on eating my food. Enjoying every bacon strip and every bite of pancake with a little drizzle of maple syrup.
"Good Morning." Said by someone.
"Morning." Answered by another one.
"Good Morning." I said to them.
When I looked back I saw some pack warriors and my father with Marcus. I wonder what they're talking about. That's it, I just wonder. It's probably not my business.
I decided to get back to my business and that is this beautiful plate. That is filled with beautiful stack of pancakes and beautiful strips of bacon. I've probably eaten a lot for I felt bloated. Ugh!!! Me and my habit of eating too much. Fortunately, we have a really fast metabolism so this will probably stop in a matter of time.
I head to the living room and kissed my father on his cheek.
"Good Morning papa!" I said while giving him a kiss on both cheeks.
"Good Morning darling!" Papa said.
"Good Morning Margaux!" Marcus said.
"Good Morning Marcus!" I gave him a hug and a peck on his cheek that maybe lingered a little too long. I smiled on his cheek and let go of him.
"Have you already eaten your breakfast? Both of you." I asked them. Summoning all the sweetness I have and put it all in my voice.
"Yeah. We're just finishing our business. See you later, darling." My father said.
"See you." I say while waving my hands.
I grabbed my medieval hooded white cloak and head outside. The snow was falling hard last night. Now, the whole place is covered with ice.
I walked to my usual place. The woods is still as calm as it used to be. I walked further and further. I reached the lake I sat on its side and looked at the nothingness of the frozen ice.
I recalled some memories that happened in this place. When I first turned which is almost 3 years now. It's my 13th Birthday, 5th of January. It's painful but my whole family and Marcus was there to support me.
That's when I first talked to my wolf, Antoinette. Which, I remember, haven't talked to me for a while now.
"Antoinette, where are you?" I asked her.
"I'm here. Don't worry." She answered.
"Why haven't you been talking to me? Did I do something wrong or offensive?" I inquired.
"No, you're perfectly fine. I'm just resting." She said.
"Why are you resting?" I asked.
"Nothing." She shrugged.
"Why?" I pushed. I know I shouldn't but I can't help myself.
"I can feel that something's wrong but I can't put my finger on it." She said.
"Okay." I said then she blocked me out.
Well that's a nice conversation. I think we're fine. We just got to be alert. I continued to stare at the frozen lake and contemplated for my previous shenanigans. I really should stop messing with my older brothers.
I stood up as I realized that the air is getting older and the sun is fading. I walked back and head to the pack house. The dinner is probably ready.
While I'm changing my clothes after taking a warm bath I received a mind link from the beta.
"Everyone should be present to dinner tonight." The beta said.
Well, that's something. I hope it's not trouble that's waiting for us. Please be good news! I prayed again. I keep on praying lately. I sighed, really heavy.
