I Love You

Sanyukta's pov... "I'm back!" I squealed as I entered my empty dorm room. Summer breaks are over and here I'm now, in the second best place in the world, my dorm room. Coz first is my home. Many students have a strong hatred towards their school but my case is completely opposite. I just love my school! Except studies, I love everything about the school but I'm still one of those students who get all A's in their report card. No, I'm not a nerd but I belong to the popular group of the school. This is my last year of school and I want it to be the best year of my life. Only one year, after that I won't get to live in this room, I won't get to meet my friends daily. It hurts to think that so for now I don't wanna think about it. "Sanyukta" I heard a squeal and was hugged by my best friend and roommate from behind. "Anaya" I turned to her and hugged her back. "I missed you" we both said at the same time and giggled. Anaya and me have been friends since we were in diapers. Our families are really close and so we are. We were sent to this boarding school in Dehradun when we were in first standard and since then we became roommates as well. "I'm tired" Anaya whined sitting on the littale couch we have in our room. "Me too but we'll rest later on, first lets go and meet our other friends at our spot, as we planned earlier, remember?" I asked and she groaned. "But I can't walk, my legs are sore" she whined. Did I forgot to mention that Anaya is the lazy one in our group? "Stop whining Anaya and lets go" I dragged her out with me coz I'm very excited to meet all my friends after 2 freaking months. God I missed them! We finally reached at our spot, me by walking and Anaya by me dragging her. So talking about our spot! We have a shed with a table and few chairs with it, in the side of the school playground and that's our spot. We have our lunch there only, daily and that's our favourite place in the whole school. Me and Anaya were the first one to reach our spot so we took our seats waiting for the others to show up. "God! Sanny I told you we should first take some rest and then we can come here but you didn't listen to me. I guess they'll come after taking some rest and till then we'll have to wait here" Anaya whined again. "God, Any stop whining like a kid and look there." I pointing towards the gate. Arav and Arnav were coming towards us. They saw us and waved at us, smiling. We waved back at them and then I looked at Any smirking. "Fine" she huffed and I chuckled at her. Soon the twins  reached our table and hugged us. "We missed you guys " Arav said and Arnav nodded. Arav and Arnav are the twins in our group and they are not identical. I'm equally close to both of them. They are in the football team of our school and are good in studies as well. We started talking about stuffs and soon were joined by the last member of our group, Arjun. Arjun is a playboy of our school and he's also in the football team. Everyone except me in the group has 'A' as their name's initial. It's just me with a 'S'. "Hey buddies" Arjun came and took his seat after hugging us. "So who missed me?" He asked arrogantly. He's like this only, a big headed jerk but we still love him and he loves us too. "None" Arav said and we all chuckled except Arjun of course. "Ya if that helps you sleep at night" Arjun said smirking and looked at me then winked. "I know Sanny missed me the most" he said with a teasing grin on his face. "Not again" I huffed and kept my head on the table. He always troubles me saying that I have a huge secret crush on him since we have met and I should confess my undying love for him. Why? Because I don't have a boyfriend. And also because when we were kids I always used to play his wife in the games we used to play. I still don't know why I used to do that but I always played his wife and he used to peck my cheeks every time he went for work and came back in the game. And also whenever I cooked imaginary food for me. Any used to become our child and Arav and Arnav used to play our brothers. And because of those stupid childish games I'm still paying. "I hate you Arjun" I stated and he blew me a kiss. "I love you too, baby" he replied winking at me while the others as usual found it very amusing and started laughing. Remember I said I only hate studies? Please remove 'only' and add 'and Arjun' after studies in it. "Stop it ya Arjun, stop troubling my bestie" Any came for my rescue and I hugged her like a kid hugs her mother whenever he's in trouble. "How can I trouble my love" Arjun teased me again pulling me towards him. I just stick my tongue at him and he chuckled. "You know what Arjun? I think you love me and that's why you are taking those silly childish games this seriously" I retorted and he started laughing hard clutching his stomach. "You wish, sunshine" he said pecking my nose and I just twisted my mouth. "God! When is his girlfriend coming?" I asked irritated because Sonali, his girlfriend, is the only person who can help me in such situations. Sonali is a really cute girl and I like her a lot. Arjun and she has been in a relationship for 4 months now but we were friends even before than. Whenever Arjun starts teasing me Sonali always comes to my rescue and tease Arjun with something or other very embarrassing. "I don't have a girlfriend" Arjun said casually and I looked at him as if he has grown two heads. "What nonsense Arjun?" I asked him. I knew it, I knew Arjun is a playboy. I even warned her but she  loved him truly and thought that she has changed him but Arjun can never change. "Don't act like you don't know me Sanny. So just calm down" he replied casually. "But she loved you" I said in a very low voice. "Every girl does Sanny, even you do" he said hugging me from side but I just looked away. "It's not funny" I said seriously looking at him. "I never said it is" he said with the same sincerity looking straight into my eyes. "Stop doing this Arjun, breaking hearts isn't good. Stop it" I said holding his hand. I care for him, I care for him a lot after all he's my best friend. I don't want him to get hurt someday coz Karma is a b***h. "I can't Sanny, girls should stop falling for me. Coz I'm like this and I can't change. At least now they should understand that I believe in one night stand. Love isn't my thing Sanny, it isn't." He said the last part in a low voice looking down and I hugged him. I just don't want you to get hurt Arjun, I don't. ______________________________________
