12. Shopping

"So, am I forgiven?" I asked him.

"Not so easy, Sunshine. I'll forgive you on one condition. " He said with an evil smirk on his face.

Okay so should I take it as a danger sign?

"And what's that? " I asked frowning. I was getting nervous, even I don't know why.

"You'll have to go to the party with me. " He asked and my eyes widened.

"No way on earth I'm going with you anywhere after this. " I told him shaking my head wildly.

"Why? " He asked quite offended.

"Coz I can't afford to upset my friends because of you, again . " I told him.

"But then I'm not forgiving you. " He said looking away.

"Okay, as you wish, but I'll never go anywhere with you ever again. " I told him.

He murmured something which sounded like 'we'll see' but when I asked him what it was, he said nothing and started driving again.

I too started looking outside the window, trees were surrounding us on our way, the path wasn't much crowded as usual, it was serene.

You just can't take your eyes off the scenery. It was very peaceful. I pulled down the window glasses and now the breeze was making it hard for me to keep my eyes open. My eyelids felt heavy and I finally after resisting a lot, closed them.

"Get up Sunshine " I felt someone shaking me lightly. I stirred a little.

"Sunshine, we're here, get up or I'll have to pick you up on my arms. I seriously don't mind doing that but you won't like it. Now get up. " I heard the same voice again and the person shook me again, this time a bit harder.

I unwillingly opened my eyes knowing who the person is and where I'm.

I looked at him frowning to find him smiling.

"What are you smiling at? " I asked in 'just woke up ' voice.

"I'm smiling at your cuteness Sunshine, I always do, now get up. " He said pulling me up. Then he stepped out of the car and came running to my side to open the door for me. I set my hair in the meantime and then got out of the car taking his hand.

We went through so many stores but didn't found something really good. But then my eyes fell on this beautiful red dress. The dress is a bit too short and reveals a bit of a cleavage as well but I really like it. And every girl wears these kind of dresses, and even more revealing so why can't I wear this.

The dress

I showed the dress and his eyes widened.

"No way " He said snatching the dress from me.

"Why? " I asked him annoyed.

"Cause it'll make you look fuckable" He said shamelessly gritting his teeth in rage, may be imagining the guys drooling at me.

"Stop it okay, I'm wearing this and that's final. " I said taking back the dress from him.

"No you're not. " He said snatching the dress again. He went near the corner and brought a dress with him.

It's a pure black short dress with three fourth sleeves. It's simple but classy but I'm not telling him this.

"You're wearing this. " he said handing me the dress.

"No I'm not, it's very simple. " I said giving him back the dress.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." He said handing me the dress again and pushing me inside the changing room.

"Instead of a choker you can wear a long chain pendent with it. I'm going to find one for you, till then you try this dress out and show me. " He said and I heard him walk away. Did he just ordered me? No he's just helping you out, so stop whining and try the dress!

I changed into the dress and it looked really nice. But I can't let him win! I'm buying the red one only and that's final.

I came out of the room to find him standing there. When he saw me his eyes widen, not in shock but in admiration.

"You look breath taking Sunshine. " He said coming near me.

"And with this you're gonna look even more beautiful if that's even possible. " He said showing me a beautiful butterfly pendent with long chain.

My heart melted at the sight of it and for a moment I reconsidered my decision of buying the red dress instead of these. But then how can I let him order me, so I shook my head and looked straight at him.

"I'm buying the red one. " I said with finality and walked inside the changing room to change into my clothes. When I came out, I found Ranbir with 2 bags in his hand.

"Here's your dress. I've paid for it. " He said handing me one bag.

"No need of it, I'll pay you. " I said taking out my phone and via paytm I sent him the money.

"That wasn't needed. " He said looking offended.

"Oh that was. " I said looking at him.

"And BTW what's in that bag? " I asked pointing at the bag on his hand.

"The black dress with the pendent. You didn't wanted it so I thought I'll get it for someone else. " He said moving out of the store with me following him. I felt a bit bad but then shrugged the feeling.

We ate in the food court before entering the men's store to shop for him. It didn't took long before he found the attire and this time, I was the one who chose it for him and he accepted it smiling. And that made me feel even more guilty.

We bought a leather jacket with T-shirt and ripped jeans for him and then went for shoes. After we were done with shopping for the accessories, we headed back to the hostel.

"So thanks for everything. " I thanked him as we sat inside the car to head back.

"The pleasure was all mine. " He said looking at me with his boyish smile. " I hope you enjoyed. " He asked and I nodded smiling at him.

"So ice cream? " He asked and I grinned at him.

We stopped by an ice cream shop. It was dark by now and a bit cold as well. We sat inside a booth eating our ice cream. It turned out that we both love the same flavor, Belgium dark chocolate. When the shopkeeper asked we said at the same time, the same thing and then started laughing. The shopkeeper too chuckled at us and that's how we got to know we love the same flavor.

We were having our ice cream when a girl of our age, walked inside the shop. She passed twice in front of Ranbir trying to gain his attention but he was too busy having his ice cream to notice her. Which made her stomp her leg and walk away making a face. I burst into laughter as she left causing Ranbir to look at me in confusion.

He frowned at me which made me laugh even harder. He twitched his mouth and started eating again. I was out of breath now after laughing so hard. After that I ate my ice cream silently too trying to prevent Ranbir from stealing mine after he finished his.

Then we headed back to the hostel and in the way back I told him what I was laughing at which caused him to laugh as well.

We reached my hostel gate and he stopped his car. He looked at me smiling and I smiled back.

"So I hope you enjoyed?" He asked again.

"TBH I did. ' I told him smiling widely at him.

He was about to get out of his car to open my door when I stopped him.

" That's not needed. I'll do it myself." I told him and he smiled nodding.

Then I don't know myself why I did this but I pecked him on his cheek chipping a "Thanks again " and then came out of his car. I turned at him and waved my hand. He waved back and after I entered the hostel, I heard the sound of his engine indicating that he left. So I guess it wasn't that bad. Liar, you know it was amazing!
