9. No Way!

"Any I'll be back in an hour or so." I informed Any who is applying a face pack and she nodded.

I slipped into my bunny slippers and after covering myself with a shawl, stepped out of my dorm room with my phone and earphone. It's 9 pm and I was getting bored in my room so I decided to go out for some walk in the garden and this time I did, informed Any before leaving.

I was walking around when I heard some noise from the other side of the garden which reminded me of that night when I sang with that guitarist. May be he's the one playing today as well, I followed the sound in hope to get to meet that guitarist again and this time properly. As I walked in that direction the sound became more clear and now I was sure that it was the sound of a guitar. I walked faster in eagerness to finally meet the guy with a magical voice and soon I was standing behind him.

He's back was facing me and he was playing the tune of baarish. I smiled and moved towards him. Before I could speak he started singing and as I said before he has a magical voice, I was spell bounded and I couldn't utter even a word after that.

I just closed my eyes enjoying the purity, the beauty , the magic of his voice. My trance broke when he stopped singing. I opened my eyes to finally meet the guy behind the voice and my eyes widen in shock.

"No way" I whined on the verge of crying and sat on the grass in Indian style.

He frowned at me. "What happened Sunshine?" He asked sitting in front of me and looking at me with concern. So I think you all must have guessed now who this guy is , yes it is Mr. Cheesy , the most annoying person person in this whole universe, Ranbir Malhotra. Why!

"Tell me Sunshine, what happened? Are you okay? What are you doing here?" He asked concerned cupping my face with his hand.

"I'm okay." I replied with a balloon face and he chuckled.

"What happened Sunshine tell me?" He asked smiling and I told him everything.

"Oh Sunshine, there's nothing new in this, every girl here is my fan." The big headed Malhotra replied with a smirk. s**t! I boasted up his ego, I shouldn't have told him.

"Whatever." I said and got up to leave but he held my wrist and pulled me on his lap. I wriggled to get out of his grip but as usual I failed miserably. I huffed and sat quietly embraced by him on his lap.

"Even I wanna tell you something Sunshine." He said keeping his chin on my shoulder and I looked up at him.

"Okay, so this is the first time I'm saying this to any girl or anyone. I'm in love Sunshine, I'm in love with your voice." He confessed with a glint in his eyes and something told me he isn't lying, may be for the first time.

"That night when I heard you singing, I didn't knew it was you, but I badly wanted to meet that girl cause that girl had a magical voice which sent me to some other world. But that stupid girl just ran away like her house was on fire and I couldn't see her." He said chuckling and I hit him on his arm.

"And now that I know that it was my Sunshine, I..." But before he could complete his sentence I interrupted.

"Stop calling me that. It's so damn cheesy." I whined, causing him to chuckle again.

"Make me, Sunshine." He replied smirking and I glared at him.

"Oh, Sunshine I can't tell you how cute you look when you are mad." He said pulling my cheek and my mouth formed 'o' shape.

"You know what? I'll also call you with some super cheesy name to make you realise how it feels to be called by these stupid idiotic names." I told him glaring at him.

"Okay, so what are you gonna call me Sunshine?" He asked smiling.

"Um, Honey Bun." I replied with a triumph smirk, coz this is the cheesiest nickname I've ever heard. And his smile widen.

"How sweet of you Sunshine." He said pulling my cheek, causing me to frown.

"You liked it?" I asked making a face. How can someone like such a super cheesy name?

"I loved it Sunshine." He said looking at me adorably.

"You are impossible." I complimented shaking my head.

"And you are innocent." He replied smiling.

"Huh?" I frowned as in why he's calling me innocent?

"Unknowingly you took a step towards me Sanyukta, a step towards us. You gave me a mushy cute nickname, like couples do." He answered my quarries smirking and my mouth formed 'o' shape in realisation. God! How could I be this dumb?

"No no, I didn't took any step towards you or us, and I just wanted to annoy you. And I am not gonna call you with this mushy name, you are Mr. Cheesy for me and you'll always be that only.

"If that help you sleep at night , Sunshine." Ranbir said smirking at me.

"Whatever." I told rolling my eyes and got up to leave as his grip on me loosened.

But he held my wrist causing me to frown at him.

He got up and came impossibly close to me, causing me to gulp. He leaned towards my ear and whispered a very seductive 'good night' before leaving me alone to digest the fact that how close we were and how idiotic I must be looking in front of him.
