It started with a choice. One that would change my life forever. It started one day when I sat thinking about all my choices I've made until then. How life led me to this point. Alone with no intention of ever giving my heart to anyone again. A ping on my phone told me I had a notification. I had a new like on the dating app I had downloaded. I had lingered on this particular profile for a while before I liked it. And now he had liked me back. I contemplated if I should be the one to make the first contact and my will to be patient broke and I sent a message first. Once I hit send I continued on with work. Being an accounts receivable controller was no joke. Pressure was intense and our company being short staffed they needed all the help they could get.
