Kylie picks up when she sees the call. Hello, Ma. Good evening. Good evening, Kylie. Are you free? Yes, ma. Okay, I'll send you a list of a few things so that you can buy them and bring them to Louis V. I'm in executive suite 1504. Okay, ma'am. I'll send it to your DM and send money to your account. Please be fast. Yes, ma'am. Miriam hangs up. She goes through her call logs and sees multiple missed calls. Her heart is racing fast. 68 missed calls?? Her countenance falls; she walks to the bed frustrated. She sits on the floor and rests her head against the bed, staring at the skyline rooftop with her arms folded. Mr. Roberts calls. Miriam picks up. Good evening, ma'am. Good evening, Mr. Roberts. How are you? I'm doing fine, ma'am. Any updates about the scandal? Miriam asks. Yes, ma'am. I have been able to speak with the investors, and they have agreed to give a month to refund the money. If we cannot refund it within a month, it will be a jail sentence, ma'am. A month??? Miriam says agitatedly. How will we come up with such a huge amount of money in just a month? 200 billion US dollars?? Can you talk to them to give us more time? Miriam says. No, ma'am. I tried; they said it's a month that can be given. It's okay, Mr. Roberts. Thank you. Miriam responds, trying to hold back tears. Alright, ma'am. I suggest we do everything to give a refund, ma'am. Their legal advisor contacted me, and he's threatening that if we don't meet the demands, not only will there be a jail sentence, but the company will be taken as compensation. And I've written to the media to back off or face legal sanctions. With that, we can have more time to handle this issue without the involvement of the media. Okay. That's something at least. Thank you, Mr. Roberts. You're welcome, ma'am. Mr. Robert says and hangs up. I can't go to jail, and my company can't be taken from me either. All my sweat. Miriam mutters while her hands are covering her face. There's a knock at her door. Miriam, being frustrated, shouts, "Who's there? ”. It's me. Kylie, ma'am. Come in. Miriam says. Just drop everything there and go. Kylie hurriedly drops them and leaves. Miriam begins to cry again. Her eyes are heavy, making her eyeballs bulge. Her nose was running and her face slightly swollen. She gets up and removes her clothes and heads to the bathroom. Damian leaves the executive bar and goes to his executive suite. He was one who usually spends most of his stay in an executive suite watching the beautiful skyline and enjoying the magnificence of the ambience. To him, it was a way to enjoy his privacy and his quiet. Miriam comes out of the bathroom with the bathrobe on her body. She walks to the table where the items are. She searches the bag and removes a sleeveless straight gown with a slide. She turns and stands before the mirror, sampling the outfit on her body. "Perfect,” she says. She removes her bathrobe and wears the gown from her feet. Dragging it up to her cleavage. Her cleavage is slightly exposed, her curves are shaped, and her damp hair is falling on one side. She walks to the table again and searches the bag for a comb. She combs her hair, returns to the mirror, and adjusts her clothing. She searches for where she kept the file. She finds it. She then walks over to the table to pour herself a glass of whiskey. She immediately gulps down everything, gets her phone, and steps out. She locks the door behind. Damian is in his suite; he's done using the shower, drying his wet curly hair before the mirror, while another towel is wrapped around his waistline. He searches the wardrobe for some clothes. He puts on a fitted dark T-shirt, jeans, and a minimally classy watch with some Tom Ford designer perfume. He relaxes on his couch while going through his laptop. Miriam heads to the dining room. She slides through the chair and pushes it forward and sits. She places the file and her phone on the next seat. Then go through the menu placed on the table. A waiter approaches her. Dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, black trousers, and a black bow tie. He crossed his hands around his chest with a napkin. Good evening, Mademoiselle. Good evening, Monsieur. Miriam responds with a giggle. Welcome to Louis V.'s dining room with his head slightly bowed. Thank you. Miriam responds. What would you like to have, ma'am? The waiter asks while holding a pen and a small jotter. Um. Truffle pasta with premium fish and some light fruit. Okay, ma'am. It will be served in the next three minutes. "With some wine, please. Miriam adds. Of course, ma'am. The waiter responds and takes his leave. I would have to eat to have the strength to deal with all these, right? She says to herself. The waiter comes back with a server assistant who is carrying Miriam's meals in a waiter's trolley. The dining table is set neatly, and the meal is properly arranged with a spoon and fork. The wine was popped open and served into a glass. Enjoy your meal, ma'am. The waiter says it and leaves with the server assistant. Miriam takes a deep breath and takes up the fork and begins to eat her meal. Mmm... this is nice, she said, nodding her head and reaching for the wine in front of her. After some minutes, Miriam is done eating. She uses the napkin placed there to clean her mouth and sips her wine. She stands up, gets her file, and her phone and heads to her suite. Heading to her suite, she receives a call and gets distracted. And she bumps into Damian…
