" New year,and new term."I sigh.Let's go and try again girl." I sling my blue backpack ,as I start for the school hall.I just wish there is no assembly,those things make me feel sick.Crowds make me nauseous , period! "Welcome to Wissonia Elite high school ,"says a bunch of girls , forcing a flier in my hand .Great!They probably see me as a freshman.The flier is about a club which I never knew existed at my four years at school.Not that I participate in school activities anywheres.Maybe I should have just stayed home .First day are not my thing. As of now I'm opening my locker trying to rearrange somethings.It is not like I have a lot of things like other girls of my age , besides a cup and a couple of books. "Hey there Meela," says a very annoying yet my only friend's voice at school.I don't know if he is literally my friend or he just talks to me because we in the same class and our parents are business partners. "Hi," I smile ,"Nick,it's been long since I saw you." He laughs softly and gives me a cheeky smile."Oh really,I reckon you didn't see me yesterday ." "You know me ." Nick winks at me and his friends approach us.Nick's father is a brother to the sworn king of Wissonia state ,so he is royalty.He is also in the first swimming team at school .He is one of the popular gangs at school. "If it isn't the lovely Meela,"Jaden,the school's basketball captain says as he stands besides me . Nick glares at him."New year dude and you promised ,so don't ." After finishing tidying my locker up ,it was almost time for the assembly.I contemplated on bunking it ,but that would not be noble and my father would ground me let alone the principal.It was like he knew every move I did. Reluctantly ,I follow the lousy noise of the students which is coming from the assembly hall . The hall is already packed ,and I decided on sitting on the freshman's seats.What's the use of sitting with my class anywheres?They will not even acknowledge my whole existence.I think I will blend in well with the freshmen.I choose a chair at the back row and I know it will probably be empty .Some freshmen will be lost and crying in the hallway .Some will squeeze each other at the front . Twenty minutes later ,the speaker is booming while the Principal makes his way to the stage .Max ,the 'best' Disk joker(DJ) at Wissonia Elite School is trying to show off to the freshmens always.Boys ,will always be boys! "Is this seat taken?"says a deep sexy voice.I hastily look up only to be drowned into the most captivating eyes.The intruder's eyes are emerald blue .He has a perfect jawline and his lips are kissable.He looks dangerously handsome with his golden or brown hair?What am I even saying? "Ummm," I stutter ,"Say,what now ?" The intruder chuckles.His chuckle makes me wobbly inside . "Is the seat next to you taken?"he repeats. "Uh,not that I know of ..not that I'm a freshman..."I trail my mumblings as he chuckles again. "Can you scoot over then before I get into trouble ." I quickly move to the right , giving him space to sit on which is right next to me .A whole hot sexy boy next to me. "Freshman?"I ask as he readjusts himself to the sit. "What ?"He chuckles.He nust really like chuckling."Do I look like a freshman?" I shamelessly look at him and drink his handsomeness. The is followed by an awkward silence from the both of us ,and only Principal Green's booming voice is heard.He is talking on this year's vision as the top school in Wissonia.I notice my ex boyfriend Karl looking in my direction .Our eyes momentarily meets and I quickly avert them. "So what's your name ? whispers the hot guy next to me . "What is your first?" "Feisty aren't we ?" he smirks . "Curious ain't we? I shot back .He low-key whistles. "I'm Josh ." "The name is Meela ." "Meela,"he says .The name my name rolls off his tongue sends shivers all over my body ."Cool name ." "Thanks . Yours ain't bad too." I slightly turn around , trying to peak at him only to find him already staring.His eyes seem to sparkle under my gaze.
