CHAPTER-14 Trying To Accept

Fiona’s POV:

I entered Sam’s house with bloodshot eyes and told him the incident in the park when Henry made it clear that he loved me. Sure to say even Sam was shocked.

“Are you sure you heard him say all those things to Alaster or were you day dreaming? “ He quirked his eyebrows in a questionable look .

“What makes you think I would be making up things like this? I haven’t gone mad yet Sam.” I screeched.

“Ok ok calm down. What Alaster said is absurd but why not give Henry a chance that he’s gone to an extent of hurting himself?” Sam asked me.

“Sam you know I didn’t want Henry. I love Watson and the way he left me hurts me till date. I wonder what Tessa told him that he hates me more than anything now. But what makes you think I will move on with Henry? And ofcourse not to forget he r***d me.” I added.

“Fio, I know how much you loved Watson, and I know the way you are hurt but it doesn’t mean you cannot accept another person who loves you and would go to any extent to make you his. If I were in your position I would take a chance with him not only because he loves me also because he r***d me and would rather be with the person who took my virginity away.” He told me truthfully.

“Honestly I don’t have an answer Sam. I feel I’m being used here and not to forget if me being r***d by Henry was only for me to accept him then he will succeed in his plans.” I opened up.

“Fio, let’s be practical. I know you don’t love Henry but you can try. Also do you think Watson will accept you after being r***d? I know he is a very nice guy with a big heart but I don’t know if he would really accept you after being physical with Henry.” He told me.

“I don’t know Sam. I know I wouldn’t be able to go back to Watson because he will think I slept with Henry purposely but no one would understand I was r***d. Maybe I should just go to Henry because he r***d me but I would also tell him that I don’t love him and I am only with him because I’m r***d by him.” I told Sam trying not to tear up more in front of him.

“I will try talking to Henry because I’m sure you will not be able to tell him the real reason as to why you’re with him.” Sam replied quickly taking his phone out to dial Henry’s number.

‘I just prayed to god to keep Watson safe even though I want to be with him I can’t anymore and I smiled sadly thinking about the memories where he took care of me.’

Sam’s POV:

I took out the phone to dial Henry’s number after convincing Fio. I somehow knew Fio would have to be with Henry because she is a one man woman who would not want to be physical with anyone else but I just hoped for her life to be better when she accepts her life with Henry.

“Hey Henry. This is Sam, Fio’s friend. How are you?” I asked.

“Hello Sam. I am good. How are you? How is Fio? Is she okay? Has her wound healed? I want to see her from far away atleast would you be able to help me?” He asked me.

“Oh my god. Calm down Henry not so many questions in one go. Just let me answer to all of them. Yes I’m doing great so is Fio. The wound is healing slowly. The doctor said it would take about a week for it to heal completely. You can see her but not from far away. You can even talk to her.” I replied trying to take things slowly in between them for Fio to gain trust on him again.

“What? Fio is okay in seeing me and talking to me? She won’t mind? She won’t do anything to herself anymore?” He yelled in excitement.

“Geez! You need to relax man. You will blow my ear making me deaf soon with this excitement. I just wanted to tell you she would be in a commitment with you not because of love but because you r***d her and went physical with her. I know I sound really mean about this but she is really trying to calm down from the time you forced her and I genuinely see she is not able to move on from that incident unless she starts feeling it was done out of love. This is absurd but it was your making Henry. We never had a good opinion about you because you were playboy kinds and knew you would cheat women for their innocence. She is trying to accept you but give it some time Henry.” I said trying to make Fio smile but she was in deep thoughts.

“Thank you Sam. I was not expecting this at all thank you soo much. I would definitely make it up to her. Trust me please. Tell me where I can meet her I want to see her now. Please?” He pleaded me

“Sure you can come to my house to meet her. I will text you the address and thank Alaster about this too. He was the one who helped.” I said

“I didn’t know how and what you are saying now but I will surely talk to him and thank him. Thank you.” He said and disconnected the call.

“Fio he is very happy he will be here to see you soon. Get ready and talk to him about everything don’t overthink please.” I said.

“Okay Sam but I don’t feel right about this.” She said and walked away.

‘Fio you always have me. If he tries to do anything he is done for life. Don’t worry I have you back always.’ I thought.

Henry’s POV:

‘I feel this is a dream! I never knew Fio would give us a chance. Though she hasn’t accepted me she is atleast trying. I do feel guilty about forcing her about this. But never did I want to force her too. I would apologize to her and definitely make it up to her. Thank you Fio.’ I thought.

“Hey Alaster, I don’t know what you did but thank you because Fio is giving us a chance. I will be meeting her in Sam’s house now.” I told Alaster with happiness.

“I’m happy for you Henry, but please don’t hurt her again because she is already hurt much.” He said.

“Yes I will make it up to her for sure this time and will never hurt her trust me Alaster.” I confessed to Alas.

“Okay bro. Go meet her soon bye.” He said disconnecting the call.

I got dressed up in my blue t-shirt and jeans to meet her. I made sure to cover up my wound so that she won’t see it.

‘I’m coming for you Fio.’ I thought before leaving my house.
