Forgotten

Chapter Thirteen

Tyler's POV

It's been three months since I last saw Vanessa, well Mia as Ryder calls her. Although I've spoken to Vanessa, (the one with me originally) after my discovery but it seem like she doesn't have any idea about her supposed twin sister.

Flashback:

After the revelation, my mom asked about Mia as much as I didn't want to tell her I had no choice since she was bound to know the truth sooner or later.

After my explanation, my mom was very mad at me, more like disappointed. That was why I went to look for Vanessa to ask 9f she knew anything about her supposed sister.

" Vanessa, can I speak with you for a moment?" I asked her since she was with her group of friends. Although she glared at me, she still agreed to talk to me.

" So what's this about now?" She asked impatiently. It was very obvious on her face that she didn't want to talk to me.

" I'm sorry for interrupting your fun" I apologized quickly, I had to swallow my pride to talk to her.

" Okay, just be fast about it. I don't have time to waste, so will you tell me what this is about" she told me calming, her voice also softened.

" You remember the last time I talked to you about the memory loss issue, right?" I asked her even though I wasn't expecting an answer from her.

" Yeah, but what does anything have to do with it?" She surprisedly answered me.

" Okay, I'm sorry about that time it was a misunderstanding, you were not the person I thought you were. Apparently you have a twin sister so I mistook you for her since I wasn't aware about......"

" Hold on, young man. What do you mean by saying I have a twin sister?" She interrupted me. Well I guess she doesn't know about it then from her reaction or she's a very good actress.

" Mom told me about it some weeks back, she said your aunt told her"

" Wow, this is sure surprising I have an aunt I don't know about and I also have a twin sister that I'm sure doesn't exist" 

" Yeah, I wanted to ask if you knew her whereabouts but judging from your reaction then I think you don't know. Anyway thanks for your time and just in case you get to hear anything about her, I'll appreciate it if you inform me." And with that I left her alone.

Seems like I will have to ask my friends about her especially Ryder, thinking about him I just realized it's been quite a long time since I last saw him. Ever since Amelia left home he has not been hanging out with us but not to blame him also, he only became friends with us because of Amelia so I guess it's only natural for him to leave.

Also, Vanessa hasn't caused any trouble so far, it's as if she's a different person entirely although she still has that bad temper of hers but I like this side of her and Amanda surprisedly became friends with her. Even her grade improved.

I really feel bad for my attitude towards Amelia. I wonder where she is right now, is she doing okay? Is she eating well? The more I think about her the more I'm regretting my actions if only I didn't ignore her, if only I allowed her to talk to me when she tried to talk maybe all this won't have happened. 

It's too late to regret now, all I can do is to look for her. I can't file a missing report on her since she left willing although my actions forced her to. I really miss her, I wonder if she also thinking about me.

I probably should ask Ryder if he is in touch with her, or I should just get her contact. Why didn't I think of this before? I'm sometimes dumb, yeah I know I am. Thank God today is Thursday, so I'll just ask him tomorrow. Hopefully I don't forget.

I went back to my room to do my homework, I'm a modest student although not as good as Noah and Jackson, I'm what you call an average student but at the same time I'm a little above an average student even Vanessa is better than I am.

Vanessa came home not long after I finished my homework since she went out with her friends after our conversation earlier. I took a shower while waiting for mom to call us for dinner, and almost immediately I was done showering she called us downstairs.

The dinner was peaceful, my Mom still doesn't talk to me the way she does before Amelia's incident seems like she's really mad at me, she only talks to me when she finds it necessary and that is why I really want to find Amelia.

After dinner, I volunteered to do the dishes. Vanessa was surprised since I have never volunteered before but she went back to her room anyways. After doing the dishes,I noticed that Mom was still in the sitting room.

" Mom, can you please give me aunt Jasmine's number?" I asked since I needed to have a backup in case Ryder doesn't have Amelia's number.

" What do you need it for?" She asked me

" I need to ask her if she knows where Amelia is."

" And who is Amelia?" My Mom asked, I'm actually surprised she doesn't know who Amelia is.

" She's Vanessa's twin sister, I learnt from Ryder that her name is Amelia" can't she just give me the number without asking questions? It's really annoying

She replied with an 'Oh' and told me to get her phone from her room. Atleast I know she will give me the contact but I still find it strange, I'm sure she would have contacted her before now to ask for her whereabouts but I have no option than to also call her since my Mom isn't saying anything.

I gave her phone and she also gave me the number, I thanked her, told her goodnight and went to my room.

I was about to sleep when I received a message from Daniel asking me if I wanted to hangout out with him and his other friends tomorrow, I replied him with an okay. I guess having a little fun won't do any harm. And I hope I see Ryder tomorrow also.

With the thought about Amelia still in my mind, I slept off.

Sorry for not updating frequently, I've been busy with school work. I'll try to update frequently, thanks for your support
