Chapter Three

"Do you think I'm happy?" His voice became soft together with those eyes just flickered.
I held my breath while looking at him. I swallowed hard when his face goes near me until our nose touch.
We didn't break our stares even if I saw him gulped that made him more sexier.
The madness in my eyes just fade. All I know that my heart beats faster and harder that makes me want to push him away but because I'm weak, I can't.
I tried to look at him directly in his eyes but I ended up looking at his forehead. My chest's in and out.
"Darling, I'm asking you," he gently said that made my body soften.
Damn, what did he do to me?!
I close my eyes but I immediately opened it, before I answered, "Y-Yes,"
He frozed up when I answered. I saw how he bit his lower lip but still looking at me. When our lips almost touch, I held my breath as I close my eyes but in a short of second, I didn't feel anything so I open again my eyes that our gaze met again.
My world just stop as I felt an electricity on my cheeks when he touch it using his lips. He moved his lips on my earlobe as he kissed it before whispered, "Now, I'm happy,"
I feel stocked up and shock when he just done that.
I should feel fear, madness and hatred! But what is this feeling?!
He moved away from me and stood up like there's nothing happened.
"Do you still want to marry a monster like me?" My senses got back on me when he asked that ridiculous question.
"F-From the first place, I didn't want to marry you," I blurted out. "Why don't you just deal with my father for peace? B-Bakit kailangan pa ng kasal?" At last, I spoke Tagalog, together with my question.
"What's the purpose of us, getting married, when we will just do this because of peace?" I bit my lower lip, trying to calm my self and not to releases the madness in my chest. "You can freely declare peace in between you and my father's territory. We don't even like each other! We don't love—" I cut off.
"I like you!" I frozed when he barked back. He like--- what?! "I f*****g like you while you don't." As he stared me.
"C-Can you just like me back and let us married?" He whispered but still enough for me to hear it.
My heartbeat race like there's a competition. I unconsciously bit the back of my cheeks while looking at him, I want to looked away but his eyes like a magnet to me!
My mind and my eyes went blank while looking at him. "I can't like a monster like you." As I held my breath. "You're far from my ideal. Yes, you have a perfect appearance that every girls could dream on. But you have dark soul that makes us not to fall inlove with you."
His eyes darken but it turns into blank. "We will marry each other, no matter what." A voice with full of authority escape in his lips.
I darted my gaze on him. "You can't just get the thing you want..." I whispered. I may be rude, but that's a fact. "You can't marry me anytime you want, Hades." This is the first time I saw spoke his name.
When I saw his famous smirk and his eyes landed on my lips, I immediately gulped.
"Believe me, Darling, I'll marry you anytime I want," he said playfully as he turned around and walked away.
I remain stock up and quiet until I saw Athena goes near me. I saw how her brows furrowed while looking up Hades before gazing on me.
She then suddenly walked towards me. "You look pale, Okay ka na ba?" I slowly shake my head as I heavily sighed.
"I want..." I can't speak perfectly like there's something on my throat, stuck up. "I want to go back home."
She stared at me for a minute before nodding. "Sure, tutal na-ka-ka- suffocate rito."
WE silently head to the portal together with this guy besides me!
No one speak around me even my Hard-headed sister.
As soon as we reached the portal, Hades leave a message to my Father. "Send my regards to your father," he said.
Athens boringly nodded before swaying her hands like she's not interested. I just bowed down my head but I felt someones finger on my chin, as I looked up, I saw Hades gently looking at me.
My heart started to beats abnormally as my body trembling. "Take care," He said before I realised that his lips landed on my cheeks.
Another electricity comes out everytime our skin just touch. I don't know what is this feeling but all I know that I didn't like it.
I frozingly stared the back of Hades leaving us.
I blink twice trying to sink in my mind what the hell was that!
"W-What the f**k?" Athena blurted out and made me back on my senses.
I heavily sighed before looking at him. She was about to asked another question but I immediately stop her. "I can't answer your question."
We were both silence until a playful smile plastered on Athena's lips. I furrowed my eyebrows as I bit my lower lip. "That's not what you think," I warningly said.
She released a small laughed before teasingly taking a glance on me. "If you say so."
Instead of barking back, I keep my lips closed. I can't win on Athena in arguments like this.
Out of frustration, I immediately went on the portal. In a blink of seconds, my chest suddenly widened as I felt peaceful in my mind.
Damn, I'm glad that I'm already home.
There's a big diferrence between Olympics and underworld. My home is lively while Hades home is deadly.
I am used to giving life especially to the nature while Hades is used to ending someone's life.
Should I refuse the contract?
I know that there's something behind that monster. But... What is it?
Is there a missing piece on his life?
When he asked me if I think he's happy, I lied. I saw his pain through his eyes that made my curiosity grows up. I'm thinking, why would he feel pain?
