I dart away from Caramia, furious as all h*ll, but she pursues me. I can feel her on my tail. “Malyka, wait!” She scream into my mind, but I ignore her. “Stop!” She tries again, but I don’t care, I speed up.
It’s still dark outside, but my wolf can see perfectly. “Malyk-,” She start to plead again, but before she can finish her voice vanishes. I pull up short, gazing back, trying to see why she stopped.
I find my Beta, Lila, growling at her and I freeze. I hadn’t even thought about the fact that my pack could discover her so far into our territory.
“Leave her.” I command, using the mind-link between Lila and I. She turns her snarl on me, unwilling to back down.
