Damien's POV.
I pull back from the kiss, smiling down at her as my hands caress her cheek. The feeling of deep warmth that surges through my veins in this moment, is one that I have never experienced before in all my hundreds of years of living. In fact, you are excused to call me a novice in this aspect, however, everything feels so natural with her. I have never taken so much time to show myself to anyone before but I did not even have to think twice to show her everything.
If I were to be an arbitrary man, I would stay here with her forever. But I am not. I have to look over my people.
