Chapter 23
My hands tug at Reid’s hair as he kisses me. His hands are all over the place, as if he’s trying to touch as much of me as possible. Our movements are hurried and frantic, and my brain is trying desperately to break through to me, to tell me that this isn’t a good idea, that doing this will just make everything so much more difficult. Reid starts tugging at my shirt, and he pulls it quickly over my head, tossing it aside. “Hadley,” Reid groans my name into my neck as he trails kisses there. I whimper at the sound of his voice. I want him so bad that it hurts. I know I have to stop this before it goes to far, before it breaks my heart all over again, just as I was beginning to put the pieces together again, with Gavin’s help. Am I strong enough?
