Alistair was having a hard time.
He was aware that his mother is a good person. After only one stop, Roman had informed him of where Charles was from. He knew that the child was having a hard time, and his mother was the salvation he had.
For a second, he feels like that would be a normal occurrence. To have people running around and telling them that the Duchess Cheztimir is their salvation.
Roseanne wasn’t particularly doing a bad thing. But this was borderline dangerous. It was a good thing that she will be known as a kind woman, but many would use this to their own advantage. Severin was already having a hard time without people knowing Roseanne. And it would seem to triple if they did know about the Duchess.
