Everyone found it amusing when the Duke seemed restless. He had been looking at the window for a while. It was obvious what he was waiting for. The Duchess will be arriving today, and he couldn’t wait to see her.
“Your Grace, should we take this on another day?”
His eyes snapped to the butler, remembering that he was signing some work. Severin knew that he needed to focus. He has to finish his work so he could spent the day with his wife. But his eyes were focusing on the window.
Severin wanted to meet his wife.
“Nonsense. I will be working today.”
Then he heard it, a horn that signified the Duchess’s arrival. He stood up, looking at the window to see the carriage. Severin felt a relief knowing that she was safe. Roman was leading it with pride;
