Chapter 7 : Amora's POV

The date as you might call it was in a few hours. Ray had texted me that we would be going to a restaurant called Aries. I looked it up and apparently it was one of the top five star restaurants in the city so I had to look classy if I was going to mingle with snobby rich people. Of course he offered to pick me up since I did not know my way around the city just yet but I refused , I don't want a man knowing where I live on the first date . He tried to insist but I still refused , I told him that I would use a GPS and besides I feel more comfortable in my car than in anyone else's. After taking a bath , doing my daily skincare and putting on some body lotion, I started doing my makeup. I did not want it to look as simple as my daily makeup but I also did not want to be beated to the tea , so I just did something light with a red lip , some eyeliner , Some eye shadow and of course blush and mascara. I did not need any eyelashes since my natural ones where already long enough. After doing my makeup I wore a short cherry red dress which had spaces that showed my back. It was my sexiest dress . I paired it with my 4 inches YSL classic hills and a matching YSL handbag. When I was finished I looked in the mirror and saw how beautiful I looked in that outfit that was when my phone rang and my best friend Lana from home was on the line on video call. "Hey girl, how is the date thing going?" Of course I told her about the date , I never hide anything from her . "Well I'm leaving in a few minutes." I replied. " You look gorgeous girl, this fine man won't remember his own name after you are done with him . Look at you ." We both laughed." Thank you my friend but hey I am not smashing anyone on the first date and besides we are just colleagues trying to get to know each other better not what you think." I said " Oh really? actions speaks louder than words Ari , you wouldn't be this dressed up if you didn't like him even just a little bit " she said laughing out loud."stop imaging things okay, anyway I have to get going . I will call you after the date okay. Bye I miss and love you. " I said then hanged up. Lana is so crazy , I thought to myself. I quickly rushed out my apartment and went to my car. Using the GPS I found my way around the city to the restaurant. It was that easy, I mean it's only a few blocks away from my apartment. I got to the restaurant and found Ray waiting for me . We greeted each other with a kiss on the cheeks. "WOW Ms Parker , you look stunning. I'm starting to feel under dressed." He exclaimed. He was wearing a nice navy suit with a white turtle neck and some classic white air force 1. I must say he was a bit under dressed but he still looked handsome as always. "Thank you . You don't look bad yourself." I replied. He pulled out a chair for me and we sat down and ordered some food and drinks. Our conversation was flowing and I actually got to know him a lot better. He told me about his past , how he got where he is today and I told him about mine, normal things people talk about on dates. The table was filled with laughter and I truly enjoyed his company. When the date was over he paid the bill and accompanied me to my car." Hey , how about we do this again sometime" he suggested in a deep low toned voice. "I would love that , thank you for tonight. I enjoyed your company." We looked each other in the eyes as he slowly leaned in to kiss me. We made out for a few minutes then he pulled back. "Call me when you get home okay ? " He said. "I will." I got in my car and drove off. As I was driving I decided to pass down by the beach so that I can take a little stroll and think about whether I want to continue this romance. I took my shoes off and left them along with my handbag the car. As I was walking on the beach I noticed that there was a party going on in a building near the beach . Their music was so loud that one couldn't help but notice. I continued with my stroll and as I was strolling a group of what looked like drunk college youngsters approach me . They surrounded me in a circle and started touching me in places which felt uncomfortable. " Hey come on baby girl , let us show you some love ." One of them said. I tried getting out of the situation but they had me cornered. Oh my god was I about to get rapped by drunk teenagers? I thought to myself. I screamed and shouted " let me go " , I cried out loud.

Matthew's POV

I heard some screams as I was strolling on the beach. I quickly rushed towards the screams and I saw some bastards s****l harassing a woman . Using my reflexes I quickly rushed towards them and started hitting them . Of course it was some of the idiots I invited to my party, they were probably high on cocaine or something. I hit them so hard they started running away in fear . "Yes , run away you fuckin scum backs . " I shouted as they were running. I turned around to check if the lady was okay and to my shock it was the woman I was just thinking about. Ms Parker. I looked at her and she stared right back at me with the fear still in her eyes. "Are you okay mam?Can I get you anything?" I asked. ”Yes,I think I am fine, you got here in time. Thank you so much for saving me ” she said in a shaky tone . “Can I please at least accompany you to your house , just to make sure you are safe ?.” i asked. I noticed that she was shaking. I took off my hoodie and gave it to her . " Here take this" I offered. " Thank you ” she said as she took it and wore it . It was a little bit big on her but it was enough to keep her warm until I could get her home. "Please take me home " she pleaded still sounding fearful. " Of course, where do you stay ?" I ask politely. " Norway studios" she said. She showed me to her car and gave me the keys to drive . In the car I couldn't help but notice how sexy she looked in that dress and my hoodie. She looked all dolled up and I wondered where was all night . We got to Norway apartment studios and she led me to her apartment which was one of those big and spacious apartments. At her door step she offered that I come in . " No I can't come in, I really have to go it's late. " My heart wanted me to say yess so bad but my mind refused to take advantage of her in that state. " Okay , it's fine. Thank you for saving me and bringing me home .” she said to me. " It's my pleasure. Bye ." .We said our goodbyes and she closed the door as I was leaving. I went outside the building, called an Uber so that I could get home too.
