Chapter 8 : Amora's POV

I woke up on a Sunday morning and realised I had fallen asleep on the couch with the TV still on . It took me some seconds before I could recall exactly what had happened the previous night . I remember that I almost got rapped and a young guy who I recognised as one of my students from the school saved me . I could not quit remember his name but I know his last name is MacKhanz and he is a senior . Apparently he is the most popular student at the school. I wonder to myself what he was doing a the beach at that time of the night . I guess he was attending that party since I smelt a bit of alcohol from his breath . Anyway I shook those thoughts off and went to take a shower . As I was getting undressed to get into the shower I noticed I was still wearing his hoodie. I thought about giving it back to him at school but I did not want to raise any rumours for giving a student his hoodie back at school . People were gonna wonder why I even had it in the first place . I decided I will just find time to give it to him elsewhere. I took my shower and made sure I got those bastards who tried to rap me's fingerprints off. Just when I was finished getting dressed and about to make my morning coffee my phone rang . It was Ray on the line,I picked up . " Hello , beautiful. How are you doing today?" He asked . " I'm doing well and you ?” I asked back. " Well I wanna say I'm fine but I couldn't sleep an wink late last since I was waiting for you to call and tell me you arrived home safely ." Oh f**k , I forgot that I promised to call him when I got home . " Oh that? yes, I'm sorry Ray. I forgot. I just arrived home and blanked out , didn't even have the energy to pick my phone up . I was so tired" . I know I should probably tell him about what happened last after our date but I did not want to worry him . " It's fine i understand. I was also exhausted last night . Anyway I just called to check up on you . I will text you later , okay ?." He said . " Alright thank you for checking up on me , I truly appreciate it ." I replied gratefully. " It's my duty. I will see you tomorrow bye . " With that he hang up. I checked my phone and realised that Lana had left me a lot of messages and missed call so I called her back . Of course she wanted to hear about the date. ”What happened ? Were you too busy having s*x with the handsome colleague that you didn't have time to pick up my calls ?" she asked obviously excited to hear all the tea . " No La , you know I didn't do that ." I replied. " Oh but what happened then ?" she sounded a bit disappointed. I told Lana everything that had happened the previous night. " This young man who saved you seems like a hell of a hero ." she exclaimed and I couldn't help but to agree with her . After that long call I received a text from a Matt Mac on ig.

Mathew's POV

When I woke from what seemed like a long night . I recalled everything that had happened . I saved Amora from some dumb idiots from my party . After I took her home I did not even have the energy to go back to the party, but from what I heard from Jakes the party went on without me and Pretty got screwed by three different guys at the party. Not like I care what Pretty does . She can slut out for whoever she wants if u ask me . The only thing I was worried about was Amora , this woman drives me crazy . I remembered that I had given her my hoodie so I used that as an excuse to text her on ig with my original profile . ' Hey , I hope you are still okay . I forgot to take my hoodie with last night , can I please pass by your apartment today and get it ? That's if you are not busy .'... It took a while for her to respond to my text but eventually she did . ' yeah , I thought I would give it to you at school but I think it's better you come and fetch it yourself. That way I can thank you once again .' I was not quite sure what she meant on that last part but I responded . 'i will be there by 7 am .' Damn I can't believe she recognised me from school .
